July Echo of Erin
Central Ohio's Largest Irish-American Women's Organization
"American by birth, Irish by the grace of God!"

A chara,

I want to thank all members for their support in donating and volunteering at the Golf Outing in June at Pine Hill Golf Club. I would especially like to thank Debbie Lynch and her husband, Pete, who donated their time, talent, and connections to make this event a success. We were joined by the Lighthouse Against Domestic Violence of Fairfield County as recipients of the profit. With the help of Keith and Karen Bodner of Cardo's Pizza in Pickerington who organized the golf outing, we received $6,479! We truly appreciate their generosity and support of our organization!

We have no meeting in July, however we do have an opportunity to volunteer and/or visit with each other at a few events.

Saturday, July 13 Shamrock Club Music Festival and the Picnic with the Pops Drawing

Thursday, July 18 The Byrne Brothers, (not OUR Byrne Brothers), Byrnes Pub

Friday, July 19 Drowsy Lads, Village Green Park, 47 Hall Street, Powell

Friday, July 26 Picnic with the Pops with TBDBITL, Columbus Commons

The Dublin Irish Festival (DIF) is August 2-4. Please look through the newsletter for the SignUPGenius to volunteer for a shift. Anyone that works a shift receives a free ticket to enter the festival for that day. This is one of our more profitable fundraisers. The DIF is also a great way to advertise our wonderful organization and recruit new members. For those that may not be aware, the DIF has seven music stages, 60 acts, and over 800 performers!

Slán go foíll,
