Central Ohio's Largest Irish-American Women's Organization
"American by birth, Irish by the grace of God!"

A chara,

April brings warmer weather, longer days, and new beginnings. It was so great to see so many of you during Green Season and I'm very proud of the representation of the Daughters of Erin at the Dublin and Columbus Saint Patrick's Day parades! Our membership is growing and I'm excited to welcome new members!

Don't forget the annual Easter Egg Hunt is Saturday, April 4 at 11 am. We'll need help hiding eggs starting at 9:30 am! We hope to see you.

We are busy in April with Clann Na nGael activities and one of my Daughters of Erin favorites, the Annual Bowling Extravaganza! Invite your friends and family! We always have a great time!

Wishing you, your family and friends blessings as we celebrate Holy Week.

Happy Easter to all the wonderful women who make the Daughters of Erin the vibrant organization it is! May this season of renewal fill your hearts with joy, hope and the warmth of God’s love. I am grateful for the strength, grace and light each of you brings to our community. Wishing you a blessed and joyous Easter.

Slán go foíll,

Peggy Shanahan

There are a few Irish flourishes that add a local flavor to activities. Events remember “The Rising,” dry celebrations and sneaky pints, gugging, clúdóg feasts, dancing with the Easter Sunday sun, cake dances, and a funeral for a fish.
