A chara,
Final reminder to RSVP for the Installation Banquet by Friday, May 29, details are below.
We're getting ready for our annual summer of activities and fundraisers. Watch for details at the June meeting and in upcoming newsletters!
I wanted to share a note from Board Member Karen Jones
Dear friends,
I am so very touched by your kindness and generosity! A simple “Thank you” does not seem an adequate response, but please know that Tim and I appreciate your prayers, gift, and support so very much !
Karen Jones
As we begin Memorial Day weekend, take a quiet moment to reflect on the true meaning of this holiday. Memorial Day is a day of profound remembrance to honor the brave service members who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Let’s also keep Gold Star mothers, wives, and families in our thoughts.
I hope all have a safe weekend.
Slán go foíll,
Peggy Shanahan

They are a 100% volunteer non-profit that has removed over 60,000 lbs. of litter, including over 500 tires from our local roadsides and waterways.
Items we are collecting are:
- Tall kitchen sized trash bags (13 gallon)
- Water and Gatorade
- Granola bars (no chocolate)
- Individual size bags of potato chips
As you are traveling this summer and staying at hotels, please bring home any of the complimentary mini toiletries that you do not use. We will use them in one of our Fall charity collections.
