HONOR GUARD & FUNERAL FOR DAWN PETERSON

It is with deepest sympathy we announce the Honor Guard and funeral of our sister and long-time member Dawn Peterson. The only three-time past president, Member of the Year and Irish Woman of the Year of the Daughters of Erin. Dawn served on many committees on the Board and chaired multiple events over the last 45 years. May God hold Her in the palm of His hand, until we meet again.

If you are able, please join us for the Honor Guard at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 15, at our sister's funeral. The viewing is from 4 to 8 pm on Tuesday, Nov. 14 at Maeder-Quint-Tiberi Funeral Home, 1068 South High Street, Columbus, OH 43206. The Funeral Mass is at 10 am on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at Holy Cross Church, 204 South 5th Street, Columbus, OH 43215. If you would like to contribute food, time or money you can bring after 10 a.m. to the Shamrock Club on Wednesday or drop off Tuesday from 9 am-3 pm (614-491-4449 Tina at Club).

For our newer members, the Honor Guard is our way to honor members. We join in the church gathering area and welcome family and friends as they enter the church. We stand in honor as the celebrants enter and leave the church and sit together during the funeral. We have a limited number of baldrics/ sashes. If you have a baldric as an officer or past officer, please bring yours.

Thank you,
Sharon
