How Actors Platform Works
 This showcase is for actors ages 8 and up. A total of 30 actors will be accepted to train for two consecutive Mondays. The hand-picked, polished, and well-coached scenes will present you at your absolute finest to one of the leading CD's in the Industry! Nowhere else can you perform your very best in front of not one, but TWO of the Industry's dynamos for coaching and feedback in an authentic theatre setting! |
Schedule of Events
Mon. Sept. 3rd, 6:30-8:00 PM: Auditions. You will need to prepare a 2-3 minute scene of your choice. This will not be the scene you preform for the casting director. Bring one headshot and resume and a copy of your script for the reader. Mon. Sept. 10th & 17th, 6:30-9:30 PM: Workshops.
Diane will assign scenes and coach each actor individually. Each scene will be rehearsed, dissected, and polished for the showcase/workshop day with our guest CD. Mon. Sept. 24th, 6:30-9:30 PM: Showcase/Workshop.
Upon arrival actors will warm up, rehearse, and do final preparations with Diane. The guest CD will arrive at 7:30 PM to watch your scenes and give one-on-one feedback and individual attention. |

Past AP performers do not need to audition again, receive a discounted price, and can give their 50% deposit by September 3rd to hold their place in the showcase/ workshop!
