Dear HPN,
We are less than two weeks away from our 25th Anniversary Gala, and I am filled with expectation for what God wants to do! Please pray with us for every detail, every guest, and every conversation on August 29. We want everyone who walks into that beautiful Gatsby ballroom to experience the presence of the Holy Spirit, catch God's heart for Hollywood, and leave inspired to pray, give, serve, and join us in reaching the world's most influential mission field. We are praying for miracles that night and far beyond it!
As we approach this milestone, I have also been reflecting on the extraordinary journey God has taken us on over the past 25 years, the prayers He has answered, the people He has brought together, and everything He has taught me along the way. I would love to share some of those reflections with you in my latest blog, “25 Years of Praying for Hollywood.”

HPN NYC IS CELEBRATING HPN’S 25th ANNIVERSARY
HPN NYC is having its own HPN 25th Anniversary party on OCTOBER 17th. If you are on the East Coast, please come! They have an extraordinary community of believers in all areas of arts, theatre, film, Broadway, music and entertainment and they want you involved as well. Also, meet HPN Program Director, Kelry who will be in NY for this wonderful celebration!

DONNIE WAHLBERG IS A BOLD BELIEVER
We want to praise Jesus that actor Donnie Wahlberg (founding member of New Kids On The Block and most known for his role in CBS’s Blue Bloods) and his wife, actress Jenny McCarthy (TV personality & most known as a Judge on The Masked Singer) are committed Christians. Donnie committed his life last year and he has become more public about his faith in the past months. We are so grateful for him and how he is now inspiring the next generation to be excellent at what they do and to put Jesus first in their lives.

ZACH KING
We want to celebrate a young creative Influencer who is a Biola Film School Grad and an HPN member. Zach King has put his talents into a YouTube Channel that is now followed by over 12 million viewers. And his brilliance brings magic, fun and creativity to his faithful followers every week. Let’s thank the Lord for young Christian Creatives who are using the media for wholesome, family fun and doing it with excellence. Check Zach out here!

AI SUMMIT
We are celebrating the success of a creative HPN AI Summit last weekend. HPN members discussed Christians in the AI space, and then the 30 attendees created 5 original AI videos that were screened that evening. Thanks to Duy Beck and Tara Martinez for heading up this amazing experience. It was a creative and informative Summit.

AETERNUS GAMES SUMMIT
This past week-end was the first LA Video Games Summit for Christians in Video Games. Run by HPN member and friend Jalyssa Eliasen, over 130 Christians from all over the country and the world gathered to discuss their place in Video Games. Let’s pray for the eternal results of this gathering that took place August 15 & 16th, and ask the Lord to give them continued wisdom, revelation, favor and impact. We believe that Christians should be at the front of every business and creative movement and we know these professional video gamers are making an eternal difference!

MOURNING HAYDEN PANETTIERE
We are mourning the death of actress Hayden Panettiere who passed away this past Sunday, five days before her 37th birthday. Hayden began her career at age 10 in Remember the Titans, while growing up in her Italian Catholic family. She went through extreme highs and lows on her journey in Hollywood and her death reminds us to be thankful every day for our lives, our work and especially our relationships. Please pray for Hayden's family, friends and her fans as they process the unexpected loss of this special woman.

STUDENT ACADEMY AWARDS
For the past 50 years the Motion Picture Academy has given out Student Academy Awards. Though they don’t present them on their televised Oscars broadcast, these awards are given off camera and honored in a separate ceremony. This year, just last week, they awarded 12 students for their films, and 9 of them were from outside the United States. We want to pray for the student filmmakers who won this prestigious award. And let’s ask the Lord to touch these young filmmakers' hearts and to guide the talent He’s given them to create stories of truth, beauty and goodness.

THE PRODUCTION CREWS
We want to take time to pray for all of the people on production crews who work very hard, get no credit or accolades, and yet no film or live production could be possible without them. This includes film & TV crews who set up the lights, audio, cables, video equipment, truck drivers, the crews who travel across the country or the world on tour, backstage crew in live theatres across the world, and the people who run festivals, just to name a few! There are music festivals almost every weekend somewhere in the world and the crew has to set it all up and take it down in a very short period of time. So, let’s pray for these hard working skilled crafts men and women. We ask the Lord to fill them up with satisfaction for their work and an encounter with Jesus along the way! There is even a website helping crews get work at Backstage.com. Let’s pray God’s blessings over these important people.

MARILYN MANSON IS FIVE YEARS SOBER
We ask that you pray for Singer/Musician Marilyn Manson as he publicly celebrates 5 years of sobriety from drugs and alcohol. He announced it in a recent concert to celebrate his personal growth and ongoing recovery. Let’s pray that he finds Jesus on his journey and that he can get complete healing from his Lord and Savior. Remember that your prayers make an eternal difference!

BRAD PITT DRINKING AGAIN AFTER 7 YEARS OF SOBRIETY
Please pray for Brad Pitt who has started drinking again after being sober and drug free for the past seven years. In a recent interview with Esquire, Pitt says he is drinking in a "more restrained manner". He needs a touch by the Holy Spirit and our prayers will make an eternal difference in his life. For a man who seems to have everything, we know that Brad will only be fulfilled by the Holy Spirit and we want him to experience complete freedom.

LA WELCOMES THE OLYMPICS IN 2028
LA is preparing for the 2028 Olympics that will take over Southern California and we want to pray that this will create more jobs, bring in more skilled workers and bring unity as teams from all over the world unite here for the games. The last Olympics, in 1984, was a joyous time in our city, so we want every attendee and LA local to experience joy, peace, excitement and unity in LA in 2028.

BRIAN GUAN
Let’s pray for Influencer Brian Guan, who is not a believer in Jesus, but has launched a 30 day online search for truth. He claims to be faithless, and that God is pretending to be real, but then says, “join me and see it make your life better.” As Brian is in the midst of his 30 day search, may the Lord touch him and his 90,000 followers in a miraculous, supernatural way! And we ask God to change his whole perspective on life.
