Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
As we begin this month, we celebrate the Memorial of Our Lady of the Rosary, on October 7. This month also marks the release of the movie Pray, The Story of Patrick Peyton. (October 9) Father Patrick Peyton coined the phrase “The Family that prays together stays together”. Check out our Diocese of Palm Beach Family Rosary Video and pray along with your family. Our thanks to all of the families from across our Diocese who participated in this project to bring you the family Rosary! Also, take a moment to learn here why October is the month of the Rosary.
We have received God's Grace and Mercy with so many lessons during 2020. Remember to pray the Rosary and ask for Mary's intercession for our health and safety, for our families, and for our nation.

This month we would like to introduce to you Beth Zanotelli...
Beth is the Family Life Coordinator for our office. She has been married to Deacon Dave for 33 years and they raised their now adult daughters Anne, Emma and Francie as parishioners at the Cathedral of St. Ignatius Loyola. Her family encouraged her to start blogging at joyofthefamily.org.
Honored to be a part of the Marriage, Family Life, Faith Formation and Youth Ministry team, Beth is studying for certification in Theology of the Body at the Theology of the Body Institute. Beth and Deacon Dave enjoy teaching the Leading and Loving parenting seminar as well as helping married couples find and build discipleship communities within their parishes.

Each month we will present an award-winning children’s story for you and your children to enjoy together. This month's story, Peppe the Lamplighter by Elisa Bartone, is read by our own Most Reverend Gerald Barbarito, Bishop of Palm Beach. Designed to assist you in instilling values in your family about God's creation, who we are, and our purpose, the coordinating lesson will help you view the story through the lens of our Catholic faith. Each one of us is unique and unrepeatable, what a glorious lesson for you and your family.
