Did you expect Dostoevsky's heroes to speak to you not from the pages of his books but from the walls of a fine art gallery?

Having toured Greece, New York at The Sheen Center, and Boston at Maliotis Cultural Center, an international art installation “Saved by Beauty: Dostoevsky and America” by the “OCHRA” painting group from Greece will premiere at the Russian Center in San Francisco on September 24.

This exhibit is a tribute to literary legend Fyodor Dostoevsky on the occasion of two hundred years since his birth (1821-2021). The 35 paintings reflect aspects of the author's life and struggles as well as characters and scenes from his famous novels and seek to awaken in us a sense of a deeper spiritual reality and a transformative beauty.

Don't miss this unique opportunity to get familiar with Dostoevsky's vision

Come at 6:00 p.m. for special presentations, hors d'oeuvres, drinks, live music performances, a silent auction, etc.
