Welcome to 2022! Unsurprisingly, it feels a lot like 2021. A heartfelt “thank you” to all of you and your health center co-workers who soldier on during this pandemic. The work you’re doing is so important to the communities you serve, especially during this ongoing pandemic.

A Message from our Executive Director

Hello, Delta Purchasing Alliance (“DPA”) Members! I am excited to share with you all a bunch of new DPA-related information. We have new DPA contracts to share, new DPA members to tell you about, and an exciting announcement regarding the 2024 DPA Member Summit!

On the contracts front, the Delta Purchasing Alliance is pleased to announce a new contractual relationship with Propio Language Services. Propio provides access to on-demand audio, video, web conferencing, and telehealth interpretation services from experienced interpreters in seconds, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Later in this newsletter, you’ll find a link to the Propio announcement that shares our extremely competitive rate structure for all your patient interpretation/translation needs.

You’ll also find updated information regarding ODP (formerly Office Depot/OfficeMax) in this newsletter. Many of our DPA health centers are saving significant money on their office supply spending through ODP. If your health center might be interested in an office supply savings analysis with ODP (or with our other DPA office supply partner, Staples), please reach out and let us know. We’d be happy to assist.

Finally, please take note of our 2024 DPA Member Summit scheduled for January 31-February 1, 2024 in New Orleans! If you’ve not attended a DPA Member Summit previously, you really should make plans to attend. The DPA Member Summit is an incredible opportunity to network with your peers working in community health center supply chain/procurement, learn about the latest DPA savings opportunities, connect with the DPA’s key vendor/supplier partners, and participate in educational sessions geared towards purchasing “best practices.” More details and links to registration and lodging are included in this newsletter. We hope to see all of you in New Orleans!

As always, if you have any questions for me or suggestions for the Delta Purchasing Alliance, please email me at don.daniel@pmsnm.org
