Know Your University and Academic Calendar
Each university posts important dates and deadlines such as: Course Drop/Withdraw Dates, Housing Contract Cancellation Date, Holiday Break Dates and Final Exam Dates. It’s imperative to note this information so that you can properly plan your semester.
Spring Semester Registration:
Be sure to schedule an appointment with your
to review courses you should register for in the spring.
Any HOLDS on your account can prevent you from spring registration.
At this point all students should know where they stand in each class. If you do not, be sure to schedule an appointment during your instructor’s office hours. It is important that you know your status in each class before you head into finals.
SAP (Satisfactory Academic Progress) Guidelines:
Each university may have slightly different policies regarding SAP, but overall students must complete 60-70% of all registered courses each year to continue receiving federal aid, which includes subsidized and un-subsidized loans, Parent Plus loans and Pell grants.
Please use all academic resources available as you prepare for finals and final projects. It is not too late to sign-up for a tutor or seek out the writing center.
