The Panther Post
Monday, January 11, 2021
DPHS Community Member,

I hope that the new year has started on a positive note. As you may have already heard, the Florida Department of Education has released the graduation rate for the Class of 2020. Our 2020 seniors finished with a 97.5% graduation rate based upon the federal graduation rate method. (Click here to access a spreadsheet with all of the Florida high schools' graduation rates as posted by the FLDOE. Once opened, scroll down to the 5th link on the webpage.) The SENIOR CLASS OF 2020 moved mountains and succeeded even in light of the pandemic. Congratulations to last year’s Class of 2020 graduating seniors - you demonstrated to the fullest the Panther Motto, “Never Less Than The Best!”

As we continue on in the 3rd nine weeks, please make sure your student is focused and attending classes daily either face-to-face or via Launch Ed. If your student is struggling with Launch Ed, please contact your student’s guidance counselor or drphillips_hs@ocps.net to make arrangements to move to face to face modality. Together we will ensure the success of our students.

Have a great week!

GO PANTHERS!
