Hello DPM Families,

We are thrilled to welcome back our students to Deer Path Middle School! We hope that everyone had a wonderful, restful and adventurous summer as we are excited to start the 2021-22 school year! It is a privilege to return and serve as the principal of Deer Path Principal. Also returning is Mrs. Megan Eigenrauch, Associate Principal for 5th/6th grade and Mr. Sam Paulsen, Associate Principal for 7th/8th grade. We are also honored to have an outstanding staff at Deer Path that works hard to ensure each student has a well-rounded education. The staff at DPM hold our students to high expectations that are anchored in our DPM Core Values of Perseverance, Integrity, Compassion, Curiosity and Funtastic; while providing a safe environment so that each student can contribute to the success of Deer Path Middle School.

As we prepare together for the start of the school year and our student’s return to DPM in the following weeks, we wanted to share important information, updates and calendar dates with our families. Important Change to DPM School Day Hours: As we plan for a return to in-person learning, we wanted to share with our DPM Families that Deerpath’s start and dismissal times will be adjusted for this school year. This is a return to our previous schedule. Our 2021-2022 school day schedule will have a new arrival and dismissal time of 8:35am and 3:35pm, respectively. This change will help transportation in the morning and ensure that our 5-8 students arrive on time to DPM in addition to providing adequate time for the buses to complete the elementary routes and arrive safely. The 21-22 Deer Path Middle School schedule is as follows:

School Supplies: Families that are still looking to purchase school supplies, a list of materials for each grade level can be found here

Summer Reading: If students haven’t started their summer reading requirement, it's not too late! Families can access information regarding Summer Reading by clicking the following link. If there are any questions please reach out to our DPM librarian, Patti Flesser via email at [email protected]

We look forward to a wonderful new school year and to thank our community for your support in making this year a great success.
