A NOTE FROM THE DHSPA CO-CHAIRS
Our thanks this week go to Cathy Mulrow-Peatty, Laurie Lane, Tricia Gallagher, Kim Swift and Carol Rooney of the Holiday Lunch Committee for celebrating the school staff with a festive luncheon and raffle. It was a wonderful way to thank our teachers and staff for all of their hard work. We would also like to thank Lori Olson and Susan Massey for all of the great work they have done this fall with the College and Career Center.
Congratulations on a successful fall season for our many amazing sports teams. And congratulations to all of the students who participated in our Winter Concerts both at DHS and throughout Fairfield County.
Thank you to all who have contributed to our annual fundraising appeal. We are about half way to our goal! If you would like to participate in helping us to support our students and teachers here is the link for PayPal. Purchases from our online Spirit Wear sale can be picked up in the Athletic Loop, Monday, Dec. 20th, 3-5 and Tuesday, Dec. 21, 10-12.
We wish all of our DHS families and staff a wonderful holiday and a very happy, healthy New Year!

CDSP Did You Know Series - #4
The Council of Darien School Parents (CDSP) is the umbrella organization for all Darien Public School PTOs. Did you know that CDSP has a Community Outreach Committee? Community Outreach supports various organizations in town including Music for Youth, the Darien Foundation and the Darien YWCA. Community Outreach also champions CDSP's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) efforts. This DEI component includes communication with the Administration, as well as monthly meetings with DEI Chairs from all schools to coordinate ideas related to enrichment for students and resources for parents, focused on promoting a welcoming and inclusive social and learning environment for all DPS students. Jennifer Sherman is the Community Outreach Chair for CDSP this year and can be reached at cdspdei@gmail.com with any questions or comments.
