Hello Fellow Democrats,
AMENDMENT I to the Constitution of the United States of America:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
DJT violated this amendment twice this past week. CNN, MSNOW and Politico were revoked access to the White House press pool because the administration did not like their reporting and the things they say about him. Lawsuits were filed by all three, the judge ruled, then all three were allowed into the White House press pool. Then he did the exact same thing again by denying CNN on to Air Force One to cover DJT’s travel to Tennessee for a college football game.
He continues his attack on the free press by stating on Truth Social that all three are fake news organizations and that it has gone on for far too long. DJT and Todd Blache both feel there was no violation of the First Amendment. I don’t care how they spin it, the truth is, these media outlets are not reporting fake news. Their reports are critical of DJT, he does not like it, plain and simple. If he does not like it, it is fake news. This administration is following in the footsteps of Putin and Hitler with the end goal to make America an autocracy by regulating the free press and eliminating our freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution. Project 25 and the DJT administration want to keep us, the general population, from having information about its shenanigans and corruption.They want to prevent us from getting information we need and rely on; if we don’t know, then we are quiet and compliant. That is what he wants most - for all of us to go along with his unlawful actions, say and do nothing except as he directs. This is a scary path he is taking us down and as of today our only salvation is the court system. THIS IS WHY IT IS SO VERY IMPORTANT FOR EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU TO GET OUT AND VOTE AND VOTE BLUE! We must stop this maniac and his toadies, get democrats back in power and kick these damn republicans to the curb! Early voting starts soon, make your plans to vote NOW!
We had another great event in Moriarty at the Pinto Bean Fiesta. We handed out lots of yard signs and had good conversations with many people. We, of course, had a couple of uninformed republications that wanted to complain and grip about how Deb Haaland is refusing to debate Greg Hull, which is not the case. She gave him three dates that she was available, he didn’t like any of them and then like Daddy Trump, he spins it to say she is refusing to debate him. I can tell you with 100% certainty that Deb Haaland did not refuse to debate him and is not afraid to debate him. I was in Portales last weekend to attend the Democratic Party of Roosevelt County’s “Kick Ass Barn Party” and Deb gave a magnificent speech, the best I have heard her give. She can wipe the floor with Mr. Hull. Maybe a debate will happen and maybe it won’t, honestly, it does not matter. Greg Hull would never get my vote – he wants to turn us into Texas, make abortion illegal and take away free childcare. And that Mr. Hull ain’t never gonna happen!

TRUMP LIES ABOUT EVERYTHING!
Refute the Republican Rhetoric

Early Saturday evening, Trump posted the following on Untruth Social:
We have the BEST FINANCIAL NUMBERS EVER, and the FAKE NEWS MEDIA refuses to report them!!! President DJT
When the media reports facts that Trump doesn’t like, he bans them (or at least tries to) from the grounds of The People’s House, which he thinks of as his royal palace. I haven’t been to Washington D.C. in decades, so I’m not worried about him banning me from anything. So here are what he calls the REAL financial numbers that the news media gets blackballed for reporting:
Average price of gasoline is now $4.49/gallon. It was $3.13/gallon when Biden left office. Diesel was $3.87 and is now $6.53.
Current annual GDP Growth is 1.5% but was 2.8% before Trump took over. In the case of GDP growth, bigger is better.
Average monthly job growth under Biden was 334,000. Under Trump it’s at 57,000. Bigger is better here, too.
Average mortgage rates in January of 2025 were 6.32%, now 7.45%. Lower is better for mortgage rates unless you’re a huge lending bank.
Inflation was high enough to cost Biden the election when Trump called it “grounds for impeachment” at 2.8% in 2024. It’s now at 3.4%.
Average monthly rent in the U.S. when Biden returned to his home in Delaware and Trump reinfested the White House was about $1,200, way too high for many families to afford, but now it’s at $1,698.
Annual cost of tariffs on consumer products from the average U.S. family in 2024 was $0.00. Nothing. Zilch. Nada. Now, the average U.S. family is paying $2,000 per year in added costs thanks to Trump’s tariffs.
So, what financial numbers does Trump want the news media to report? Maybe the numbers related to his personal finances are “the best financial numbers ever”, but that doesn’t help our country’s hard-working families.
