Happy Holidays Fellow Democrats!
However you celebrate, whether Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Diwali, Boxing Day or other, Marcie and I want to wish you all Happy Holidays and Glad Tidings! Let’s put politics to the side and spend quality time with our families and friends and be thankful that we live in a country and a state that are beacons amongst the darkness. Let’s think and pray, if you wish, for those less fortunate. Those who are facing the ravishes of war, of famine, of disease – for those who want nothing more than the opportunity for their families which we have for our families.
We have a big year coming up and there is lots of work to be done, but now is the time to reflect, meditate, and enjoy our good fortune, because despite its flaws, America stands out as the exemplar to which the rest of the world strives.
