Hello Fellow Democrats and Antifa Thinkers,
I suspect most of you know that the Epstein Files were supposed to be released in their entirety this past Friday. Well, they weren’t, only a portion of them were released, and they were so heavily redacted that no one could make heads or tails of them. How many of you honestly believed that the demand from Congress for these files would be met? I for one, did not! I don’t want to come across as a smarty pants, but it seems to me that any Democrat in their right mind probably had serious doubts about full disclosure. We all know why – DJT is in serious trouble here, he knows it, Pam Bondi knows it and we all know it. They are going to stall and deny and continue this charade until someone does something to stop it. This is a full throttle coverup!
Honestly, I think we need a “Deep Throat”. If you are familiar with Watergate and the downfall of Richard Nixion you know all too well about “Deep Throat”. For those of you that do not – “Deep Throat” was an individual who leaked the truth about Tricky Dick’s illegal activities to Woodward and Berstein, who were reporters at the Washington Post. The leaked information is essentially what caused Richard Nixon to resign the presidency in 1974. Years later, 31 to be exact, it was finally revealed that “Deep Throat” was the Deputy Director of the FBI, it was an inside job. So, what I am saying is that we may never get the full Epstein File unless someone from inside the White House steps up and leaks information to the press. Can you imagine the fit DJT would throw over a leak, not to mention how dangerous that would be! If any of you think that Donnie pushed Ivanka down the stairs to her death, then think about what he might do over someone who leaked the Epstein Files! This is all very interesting to watch. There are now threats of impeaching Pam Bondi, and contempt of congress charges. I would love to see her impeached along with of course DJT. Where this is all going, is anyone’s guess and again it is certainly interesting to watch.
While all this Epstein mess is going on, Donnie is trying to convince all of us that the economy could never be better, that prices are coming down, the job market is hunky dory and that we should be fat and happy as Christmas approaches. I’ve got news for you Donnie – the economy is still in the toilet, prices are not coming down, and I am not fat and happy! He must think that we are all stupid and will believe anything that he says, anything, just because it comes out of his mouth! His ratings continue to be lower than any president in history, his health continues to be in decline and sadly we all are on the sidelines watching this shit show. Maybe if it gets bad enough for him, he will resign. Then what will we do? Then we must deal with VP Vance, oh, and don’t forget Steven Miller and Russel Vought. We are in a heap of trouble here folks!
Being that it is Christmas time, I think we all need to say a few prayers for our country, pray for our Democratic representatives and senators. Pray that we keep our Constitution in tack. Pray that we have the strength to stay in this battle until the truth is made clear, until Democracy wins out, yet again.

TRUMP LIES ABOUT EVERYTHING!
Refute the Republican Rhetoric

On Wednesday evening Donald Trump broke his own record and did so by a country mile. His previous record was 97 lies in a 30-minute time period, during a campaign speech in 2024. That old record was quite a feat, even for a professional liar like Trump, but he shattered it on Wednesday with 159 documented lies in just over 18 minutes! That works out to over eight lies a minute! Alas, I do have to admit that there’s never been a liar as accomplished as Donald J. Trump!
But this new record presents a challenge for me. How do I pick just one lie to refute when there are dozens to choose from? After some thought I decided to select just one topic that contained about 10 lies in just a few lines. Here it is, directly from the official transcript, complete with bad punctuation and capitalization:
“The current Unaffordable Care Act was created to make insurance companies rich. It was. health care at much too higher cost and you see that now in the steep increase in premiums being demanded by the Democrats and they are demanding those increases and it's their fault. It is not the Republicans' fault. It's the Democrats' fault. It's the Unaffordable Care Act and everybody knew it.”
Of course, Trump is referring to the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare. It was created to provide healthcare coverage for almost 50 million Americans who either couldn’t afford to buy insurance or could not get insurance companies to cover them if they had pre-existing conditions. Increasing profits for insurance companies was never part of the plan. And Republicans have tried to kill it since the day that it was signed into law, failing to do it legislatively many times. Letting the current subsidies expire is the latest plan to kill Obamacare, since that expiration will, of necessity, double or triple premiums for possibly as many as 44 million Americans. That was what the government shutdown was all about. Democrats wanted to extend the subsidies to keep healthcare insurance premiums affordable while Republicans want those subsidies to expire. So, it’s NOT the Democrats fault that there’s about to be a “steep increase in premiums”. It’s not the Democrats demanding those increases. It’s Trump and his Republican lackeys, anxious to get rid of Obamacare so that they can replace it with the Republican healthcare plan known as “Get Sick and Die”.

Looking for Democrats to run in 2026
With the 2025 non-partisan elections behind us, the DPTC is now looking at the 2026 Torrance County elections. These elections are partisan, but in the recent past there have only been Republicans on the ballot for the General Election since it’s been difficult to persuade Democrats to run in a county where it’s perceived that only Republicans can win. Because of this perception, there have been times when Democrats want to run, but feel that they have to change their party affiliation to “Republican” to get elected. In 2026 we’d like to change this perception, but we need brave Democrats to step up and “put their hats in the ring”. Here are the positions that will be up for election in 2026 along with the estimated annual salary:
County Commissioner District 1 – Pays $27,570.
County Commissioner District 2 – Pays $27,570.
Sheriff – Pays $72,164.
Assessor – Pays $70,031.
Probate Judge – Pays $24,180.
Magistrate Judge – Pays $79,537
All of the salaries shown are the current salaries which will likely go up slightly with a “cost of living” increase at the first of the year. The DPTC stands ready to assist you as much as possible, should you choose to step up and run for one of these positions! Contact Bill Peifer if you have any interest in running.
