5 Tips

& Time-Savers

Order Entry includes dozens of time-saving features to help you list and organize your material. Below are five pointers you can start using today.

You know that your total weight displays in the bar at the top of the screen. But do you know that you can easily get an accumulated weight for just certain items? Click to select line items in the grid, then click the Summarize button.

When you’re entering bars, you typically want to type in the Quantity, Size, and Length. When you’re entering miscellaneous items, such as mesh or chairs, you want to select the Product first. Get the best of both worlds: use the Settings button to define entry schemes for rebar and miscellaneous items. Then use the dropdown to select each scheme as you need it.

Making edits in the grid? Save time and clicks by using standard Windows shortcuts: Ctrl+C to copy, Ctrl+X to cut, and Ctrl+V to paste. View help for the complete list.

Use the Correspondence Notes button to attach an internal note your order. The note is then available to others within your organization. Unlike email chains or chat messages, you can easily generate a report that lists all notes associated to a customer, job, or order.

You don’t have to open another tab and browse the menu to process an order. Click the Tags button, then select:

> Print Tags - prints tags for the order using your default settings

> Process Order - opens Processing and adds the current order to the run

> Launch Processing - opens the Processing screen so you can add the current order and/or other orders to a new run

Any version not listed above is considered retired. Our consultants will continue to provide phone and e-mail support for all products, including retired versions. However, we will not make any code changes - including patches, upgrades, or enhancements - for versions that have been retired. aSa e^x v20.1 is a special version for Rebar Financials customers. The functionality of v18.1 and v20.1 is exactly the same. Neither version contains features nor functionality that the other one doesnʼt. The main difference relates to SQL compatibility. v20.1 was created specifically to enable aSa Rebar Financials customers to upgrade to a newer Microsoft SQL platform.
