 Don't forget to complete your SFUSD Enrollment forms for incoming younger siblings going to Kindergarten and/or outgoing 5th graders going to Middle School!
Ms. Mallen has printed forms in the office or you can download them here. She will take your completed forms for the 2015-2016 school year and deliver them to the District office by their deadline of January 16, 2015.

JAN 14: Read-a-thon begins!
|
The annual Read-a-thon (RAT) starts today and runs through Wed, Jan 28th! The RAT is a two-week period when students track their reading and win prizes for the minutes they have read. Winning classrooms that log the highest number of minutes will be rewarded with a popcorn party!
Unlike previous years, there will be no pledges this year, just a reading log. Printed copies of the reading logs will be available at the library and you can download copies here: Kindergarten Log, First Grade Log, 2-5 Log.
Last year, over 90% of the Miraloma kids participated to create an exciting environment of reading, discovering and collective success. Let's do it once again in 2015!

How can you help us at this moment?
Connections: We are seeking a few specific items to round out some hot packages. Please contact our Procurement Lead, Jean Kuwamoto if you: - Frequently stay/have connections at a hotel or vacation home in: the Hollywood or Downtown L.A. Area, Monterey, or Boston
- Have more frequent flier or hotel miles than you know what to do with
- Are a regular (or have connections) at a great restaurant or hot bar
- Have connections that can open doors to exclusive events
Sign Ups: Submit your Sign-Up party or event. Or contact our Sign-Ups Coordinator, Linda Cheu, if you have a great idea but need some help putting it together. Wine: We are collecting wine ($30+ per bottle) now for the Miraloma style raffle. Please sign your bottle & hand it to Christine Tawadrous at morning circle.
