AUCTION 2015 - MARCH 7th:
Each week we'll highlight items or packages that will be up for auction on March 7th!

These items... JUST IN!

Train is coming home to the Bay Area, hot on the heels of their album Bulletproof Picasso - and you and a guest can get rock star treatment at their upcoming show at Shoreline Amphitheater on May 22!

See Train, Matt Nathanson and The Fray perform live AND get VIP meet and greet access with the band.

You do not want to miss this!!!

Do your kids go to MEEP? Thanks to the generosity of MEEP Executive Director Armen Dilanchian, we will be auctioning one year of full time MEEP tuition and one year of part time MEEP tuition for next school year!

Your MEEP tuition can do double duty - give your child access to quality after school care, AND fund school programs! Everybody wins!
JAN 28: TODAY - Last Day to Fill out the Annual School-Wide Survey!
Please take a moment to complete the survey by the end of today! Take the survey online -- only ONE survey per household.

This is your chance to weigh in on what makes Miraloma a great school and where we could be doing even better. It is a VERY valuable input for the SSC in making budgeting choices. Not only does it allow you to give specific feedback which helps us improve our school, it ties directly into our Balanced Score Card (measuring our progress against our goals as a school) which is how SFUSD determines our funding.

It takes approx. 10 minutes... Please fill one out for your household today!

k2cINFO: Kindergarten to College (K2C) Savings Program Info
Children with college savings accounts are 6-7 times more likely to go to college than those without. Did you know that almost half of all Miraloma students have a college savings account opened by the City & County of San Francisco in its Kindergarten to College (K2C) program?

All K-2 students have K2C accounts with an initial $50 deposit. Financial incentives are available for participating families, but less than 10% of Miraloma families taking advantage of these incentives.
  • K2C will be hosting Save for College Days at your local Citibank branch on February 4th and February 5th from 3pm-5pm. Make a contribution to your child's K2C account at this event, and receive a free piggy bank!
This is the first program of its kind in the United States, giving all students entering kindergarten in the public schools a head start in saving for higher education. Participating families throughout the city have contributed almost $1 million towards their children's K2C accounts. Click for more information on K2C, call 3-1-1 (within SF) or 415-701-2311, email info@k2csf.org, or visit www.facebook.com/K2CSF.
