REMINDER: Valentine's Day Treat Policy - no edible treats
|
We believe that Valentine's Day can bring out the kid in all of us. It's fun to trade cards and show our appreciation and love towards each other. Treats can be a part of the fun. However, treats don't have to be sticky, sugary candy. If your child(ren) plan to bring treats for Valentine's Day this year, they must be non-edible, non-candy options.

 The Miraloma Book Fair is OPEN! It runs from Tuesday, Feb 10th through next Tuesday, Feb 17th.
THANK YOU for all who helped with the Book Fair Setup. The room looks wonderful and we could not have managed it without you!
It's time to come fundraise for the Miraloma Library by purchasing books for your classroom and your fabulous reader(s). Sign up to VOLUNTEER during one or two of the sessions. It's fun a fun way to spend time with the kids at Miraloma!

Book Fair Movie Night TOMORROW - Thursday, Feb 12th from 5:30-7pm in the Auditorium.
Kids can watch Pixar shorts in the Auditorium while you browse the Book Fair for your little readers.
Valentine's Day Book Fair Bike & Skate Party on Saturday, Feb 14th from 10am to 2pm. The upper yard will be open for skating/biking while you shop the Book Fair. Bagels & coffee plus Valentine's treats will be available.

Know someone who is interested in serving the Miraloma community by sitting on PTA Board? We are accepting nominations for open positions on the PTA Board for the 2015-16 school year.
Submit nominations by March 1st. Open positions: Volunteer Coordinator, VP of Programming, Secretary, Parliamentarian, and Auditor. Elections will take place on March 16th at the Joint SSC/PTA Meeting.
Our Nomination Committee members (out-going PTA Board members, Al Collins and Jean Kuwamoto) are happy to answer any questions you may have. And visit the PTA page for more info on each role.
