Show your School Spirit on Friday, March 27th (last day before Spring Break!)

• Wear something from your culture or a culture you admire or any article of clothing from a place you've visited.
• Come prepared to share one fact about the culture or place you're representing with classmates and friends.

Join us at First Friday Coffee and PTA Meeting at 8am on Friday, April 10th. In addition to updates from the PTA and Mr. Bass, we have arranged two short presentations to share helpful information on the following subjects:

• Courtney McDonald from Evolve.org to discuss Prop 13

• Carol Lei from K2C.org explaining the citywide Kinder to College Savings program (Carol is a former Miraloma parent!)

Attention 2nd- 5th graders: Talent Show Auditions will be held on Wed Apr 15 @ 2:00-4:30pm. Permission slips will go out next week and will be due back April 10th. 

• Auditions are open to 2nd- 5th graders only
• Possible acts: magic tricks, skits, dance numbers, singing songs (music must be karaoke version), playing a musical instrument , comedy routines, gymnastics, martial arts.
• All acts must be approx. 2 minutes.
• Group acts are STRONGLY encouraged!!
• Rehearsal schedule to be announced soon.

The Talent Show is Fri May 8, at Denman Middle School.

The teachers have been handing out optional Parent Feedback Forms [download PDF] at the parent teacher conference for each student. 

If you want to fill one out, please follow our No Request Policy, which states that we do not take parent requests for their child's teacher and class placement for the ensuing school year.

Please turn in to your teacher or Mr. Bass by April 17, 2015.

The final auction results are in and it's something we should be proud of! We raised a record $234,000 from our auction events. A few highlights:

• More than 325 people turned out to support our school
• Our amazing teachers brought in over $4000 in tips for the school in an hour
• Over 100 people raised their paddle to bring in $78,000 to secure PE for another year (Fund-a-Need)
• The Signups are "our thing" and brought in over $72,000!

The Auction team pulled this off with the help of amazing volunteers. This is a wonderful testament to the strong community we have here at Miraloma. It truly is a wonderful school. Thank you all!

The Spring Festival will be held Sunday, April 26th! Calling all interested people in helping to plan this wonderful community event, which helps round out our school year, welcomes new Kindergartners to Miraloma, 

and is fun for the whole family!
