 APR 15: Talent Show Auditions |
| Talent Show Auditions will be held today @ 2:00-4:30pm in the Auditorium. Auditions are open to 2nd- 5th graders only. NO parents in the Auditorium during the auditions.
- Pick up kids will be done after 3pm.
- All auditions will be done by 4:30pm. After school kids will be sent to their regular after school programs.
- Rehearsal schedule: 2-4pm on Mon Apr 20th and Mon Apr 27th + Wed, May 6th in the auditorium.
The Talent Show is Fri May 8, at Denman Middle School from 6-8:30pm.

The Miraloma Art Show will be held THIS Thursday, April 16, 5-7pm.
Come see a variety of ART done by the amazing artists of Miraloma!
- 5:30 to 6:15: A special treat! Check out what we do at OPERA time. This is a special presentation by the San Francisco Opera.
Sign up to volunteer! In order to do the Art Show, we need YOUR help:
- TODAY! Wed, Apr 15, 6-8pm: 8-10 volunteers to help with set-up in the gym
- TOMORROW! Thu, Apr 16, 8am-3pm: 8-10 volunteers needed throughout the day to hang and display student art - need as many people as possible!
- Fri, Apr 17, Noon to 2: 5-8 volunteers needed to take down art work
Students can submit Artwork of any medium to their teacher by TODAY (Weds) at the end of school.

| APR 17: Parent Feedback Forms + No Request Policy |
| The teachers have been handing out optional Parent Feedback Forms [download PDF] at the parent teacher conference for each student. If you want to fill one out, please follow our No Request Policy, which states that we do not take parent requests for their child's teacher and class placement for the ensuing school year. Please turn in to your teacher or Mr. Bass by Friday, April 17, 2015. |
| APR 26: Spring Festival - Save the Date & Volunteer to Help! |
 Mark your calendars for Sunday, April 26 noon-3pm!
The Spring Festival is the end of the year school community event. It's a great way for this amazing group of people to get together and celebrate a job well done---can you believe the year is almost over?
We'll have lots of terrific games, delicious food, great live music, and our fabulous bake sale! Entry is FREE and all the games are FREE! Bring $$ for food, bake sale items, and fancy face paint options.
All of this is ONLY possible when EVERYONE pitches in and helps to set-up, run a game, or clean up.

 San Francisco Unified recognizes LGBTQ Pride month in April and Miraloma will be hosting a potluck to celebrate our school's LGBTQ and Gender Variant community and allies. Who: All are welcome! Families and students that identify as LGBTQ or Gender Variant. Friends and Allies of our LGBTQ and Gender Variant Community.  The full color Miraloma Yearbook 2014-2015 captures it all! In addition to the panel pages of students, teachers and staff, it includes the Fun Run, Halloween parade, Inclusive Schools Week, after school programs, field trips, class art projects, performances and other fun experiences of this school year. It's filled with images of art projects and dragon drawings by our fifth grade graduates! We only take yearbook orders in APRIL. If you haven't ordered this month, make sure to:
