NOTE: one survey per family. Use average answers when you have more than one child at Miraloma.
This survey is very valuable input for the SSC and PTA in making budgeting choices. Not only does it allow you to give specific feedback which helps us improve our school, it also ties directly into our Balanced Score Card (measuring our
progress against our goals as a school) which is how SFUSD determines our funding.

The white zone in front of our school is for loading and unloading BUSES ONLY.
Please do not leave your car parked in this zone in the mornings. You may still drop your child off in this zone.

Fund-a-Need: P.E. at Miraloma!
Did you know your donations pay for our full time P.E. coach?
It's true - without PTA funding, this amazing program would not exist. We need to raise $75,000 to keep our professional P.E. coach next year. We need you to help us meet our goal.
For the last two years the Resilient Miraloma Park Initiative has been increasing the disaster resilience of our neighborhood, in large part due to the revitalization of our Miraloma Park Neighborhood Emergency Response Team (NERT). While we have a strong core team, we NEED a lot more members to ensure the safety of our vulnerable residents.
Miraloma Elementary will be hosting a new round of training on Thursday evenings fron 6:00-9:30pm, on the following dates: Feb 4 Feb 11 Feb 18 Feb 25 Mar 3 Mar 10
Girl Scout Troop #62426 invites Miraloma families to join us as we lend a hand at the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank on Sunday, February 7 from 9-11am.
We'll spend a few hours sorting and packaging food for distribution to food pantries and soup kitchens throughout the city. It's a great way to introduce kids the the idea of service and to build community.

Recess Volunteers Needed
In years past, Miraloma had a team of recess volunteers (parents, family members, guardians) who supervised various activities on the yard helping to create a positive space for all of our students. Coach Justin and I hope to get this started again this semester.
At Miraloma, we have two recesses called "morning recess" and "lunch recess." We need at least 25 volunteers so that each recess is appropriately staffed and supported by adults.
You need absolutely no experience to be qualified for this. Playworks will train all volunteers.
Morning Recess: K-3: 9:20am-9:40am --- NEED TWO VOLUNTEERS 4-5: 9:45am-10:05am --- NEED ONE VOLUNTEER
Lunch Recess: K-1: 11-11:20am --- NEED ONE VOLUNTEER 2-3: 11:30-11:50am --- NEED ONE VOLUNTEER 4-5: 12-12:20pm --- NEED ONE VOLUNTEER
