May 12: Teacher & Staff Appreciation Luncheon |
Honoring all of those at Miraloma who give so much to our children, the Annual Teacher & Staff Appreciation Luncheon will be held in the library on Thursday, May 12 at 11:30 (early dismissal). This PTA-sponsored luncheon serves 55, including the after-care programs and all Miraloma staff. To help make this a great event, some volunteers and items are needed:
- Set-up: Immediately following drop-off in the library. Seating and buffet table settings, setting up beverage service, flower arranging and placement, signage for menu items, last-minute pick-ups, etc. Three volunteers needed.
- Clean-up: Roughly between 12:45-3pm in the library. Many hands make light work! Four volunteers needed.
- Flowers from your garden, collected outside the cafeteria at drop-off on May 12.
- The PTA provides the main courses, beverages & gifts, while our parents supply dessert. We are seeking a variety of desserts, from chocolate items to shortbread to pies or cakes. Portions can be small. Items will be collected outside the cafeteria at drop-off on May 12.
To confirm volunteering, donation of a dessert, or for any questions, please email Natalie Krelle-Zepponi at [email protected].
