MV Code Club is coming back to Miraloma! After school classes will be on Mondays
starting on October 17, running for 75 minutes each. Sessions start at 2pm and 3:30PM. The sessions are geared at 3rd to 5th graders and are appropriate for all levels including both beginners with no coding experiencing, and more advanced students. Lessons are differentiated based on skills. Kids can learn scratch coding, java script and more.
$5 in advance, $10 at the door

This private screening is open to our school community -- school/after school staff, parents, caregivers, students, and siblings included. Portion of proceeds go to Miraloma! Note: recommended for ages 10 and up.
Parents of current 4th and 5th grade students are invited to the Middle School Information Session with Parents for Public Schools Representative and former Miraloma mom, Barbara Panning, on Thurs.
Oct. 20 at 6:30-8pm in the Library.

REGULAR VOLUNTEERS: Own-a-Shelf Sign up to own your shelf/ves in any part of the library (sign up sheet posted in library). What does ownership entail? Come in whenever we're open and re-shelve and reorder your shelf's books alphabetically/numerically and pull those books that need cleaning and repair. A fun task for the Dewey Decimal fans and those who must have order! Sign up in the library now to claim your favorite section.
DROP IN: Help on your Schedule Too busy to commit to a regular visit? Come on in and spend a few minutes with us on a drop-in basis. Wanna clean? Shelve books? All help welcome and we love the company!
Recess is an integral part of our children's socio-emotional development. A huge part of making sure recess at Miraloma can be a positive space for all of our students is by having enough caring and responsible adults on the yard to help provide supervision. Please contact me to volunteer!
The Snack Committeeprovides fresh fruits and vegetables to each classroom daily, so our kids have a healthy snack in between breakfast and lunch. We need parent volunteers weekly on:
Mon/Wed at 8amin the garden to help prep produce for the classrooms.
Wed/Thu/Fri after school to pick up snack bins from classrooms and clean them out.
