NOW-FEB 6: Annual School-Wide SSC Survey
Please take a moment to complete the Miraloma Family Survey by Feb 6 (one per family).  This survey gives valuable input for the SSC and PTA that helps make budgeting choices and inform strategic decisions. 
Note:  A second parent survey will be conducted by SFUSD later this Spring, which is used by the district to compare schools and measure progress against goals. ( We have shortened the Miraloma Family survey to avoid repetition of questions on the district survey)

* NOTE: Reading logs must be turned in ON TIME and with the logged minutes totaled at the bottom of each sheet (please staple 'In Class' and 'Take Home' logs together). Only logs with a total and legible, accurate totals can be counted.

Your child can submit art for the Miraloma Art Show (Feb 9). Art of any medium and size: 3D, paintings, ceramics, fiber art, jewelry, computer animation or videos.

FEB 3-10: Book Fair
Come and raise funds for your library by purchasing books for your classroom or your fabulous reader(s). 50% comes back to the library as much needed funds for new books. We will have a great selection of titles for all levels.

The book fair is open on weekdays Feb 3- Feb 10 @ 8am-3pm!

Student Purchases
If you can't accompany your student, please send your student with a signed blank check to 'Miraloma PTA' and 'Book Fair' in comment field. Include any purchase directions, so our librarian and volunteers can help and supervise book purchases.

FEB 4: Garden Workday
Please join us for the Garden Workday on Sat Feb 4 10am-2pm!  One known project is to rebuild the Oak tree irrigation system on the playground (which was unfortunately dismantled by students at recess). Parents: please tell your children not to destroy the school's landscaping.
