Dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus, part of the growing repentance remnant, cleansing as His Bride, getting ready for His soon return as our Bridegroom-----

Amidst all the tension around war in the Middle East, watching the remarkable move of the Holy Spirit places our minds and hearts on the Rock, Jesus Christ. This week we are continuing featuring some testimonies from those receiving support from your donations to NDR.

This time - we want to highlight a church in the DRC that has become 1 church in the Congo where believers are on their knees - that persecution of their faith, terrorism and fear for their lives brought them to a point of intercession and repentance for themselves and for their country !

Through all the suffering in their country there is a pastor that understands true repentance - and who has decided to humble himself - seeking God for the war in his nation. Pastor Armstrong is making an impact in his area in Bukavo, DRC. He is starting to lead his people to come to Repentance - seeking God's face - all based on 2Chron 7:13-14. And his church is growing ! They even opened a 2nd branch just this past Sunday - as their church is overflowing already. And by the looks of the photos above - this 2nd venue is already too small.

2Chronicles 7:13-14

If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Here follows a recent and very short testimony from Ps Armstrong in the DRC (Congo)!!:

Sunday - June 29th

It is a great privilege to present you our new church opened today. We thank God for always uplifting us in your prayers

Wednesday - July 2nd - A church on their knees !!

A repentance day

we asked for forgiveness to God may God heal our hearts and our country DRC Congo.

From morning to evening, we were on our knees before the Lord Jesus Christ

Thank you, everyone, for uplifting us in your prayers

We want to encourage you - please keep the DRC in your prayers - and also pray for Ps Armstrong's safety. He desperately needs every prayer - and he definitely needs God's protection for himself, his family and all his church members in his country - as his life could be in danger at any stage. Yes, there was a peace treaty signed at the White House to stop this 30 year old war, but the atmosphere in the country is still very tense. And many people have been displaced from their homes, fleeing for their lives. And the Islamists are still going around in the villages, causing a lot of fear and intimidation.

There is a cease fire. You can read more here of the latest in the news around the progress that is being made in the DRC !

We give God all the glory for this agreement - as we believe there is a church in the DRC that is starting to understand the depth of Repentance - earnestly seeking God's face - which is now bringing change in their country !! But they still need lots of prayer and support, before things will truly calm down, and this church and especially Ps Armstrong - need to know their fellow brothers and sisters in Christ are truly standing with them.

So please let him know you are praying for them. We will forward every message and all the support we receive to him - for his encouragement to stand firm in the Word and in his faith!!

May God Bless the DRC !!

*******************************************

Even though NDR did not reach its goal by June 30 in the GIVE 12 Project-- not quite 45% was raised---a breakthrough happened! Some new donors came aboard, some current donors made new monthly commitments, and --having checked with the LORD our Provider---therefore we are extending the campaign through August. The goal is to raise nearly $70,000 to continue to support repentance-preaching ministers (whose testimonies we will continue to share), who are accomplishing major Holy Spirit-based results, bringing hundreds and hundreds each week into Jesus' Kingdom. The new name of the Project is "Invite one to One." We are praying for our current donors to witness "fruit worthy of repentance" to others, sharing why they support NDR, inviting even one other person to participate now in this work of the Lord to spread His Gift of Repentance.

Please continue to sow into this mighty move of God - and do not get weary in doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we faint not... (Gal 6:6-9). Your donation of whatever amount the LORD places on your heart to give towards His MOVE of Repentance continues to bear fruit !

If you wish your donation to go to Ps Armstrong towards supporting him financially and to encourage him to keep firm in his faith, please note that with your gift !

Thank you for listening to the LORD and for your obedience.

May God Bless you in abundance as you sow towards His Kingdom!

God bless you,

Pastor Jeff
