2014 DRC Best of Times Age-Handicapped 5-Mile Club Race

Join us at 8:00 a.m. this Saturday, February 7, 2015, at Winfrey Point for the Best of Times Age-Handicapped 5-Mile Club Race.

Unlike other club races, this race has no age-group awards. The first 100 people who cross the finish line receive a medal. Why? This race is a great game of catch! We will have staggered start times based on your age and gender.

Helpful tips about this race:

  • Online registration closes at 11:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Learn more and register now.
  • Winfrey Point has limited parking. We have overflow parking at our clubhouse, 1130 Beachview Street.
  • You may register on race day from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m.
  • Bib pick-up, club merchandise, onsite registration, volunteer check-in, the New Member Corner, and post-race refreshments will be inside the house at Winfrey Point.
See you then!

Our race bibs have a shoe tag strip attached. This is how we time your run electronically.

Directions for use:

  1. Remove the strip from the race bib
  2. Separate D-tag from directions
  3. Slide the D-tag under your laces
  4. Remove adhesive tab
  5. Form a loop and adhere the D-tag to itself by lining up holes
  6. Rotate the D-tag number-side up
The D-tag should remain round. Do not flatten!

Race results will be available shortly after the runners cross the finish line.
