Dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus, part of the growing repentance remnant, cleansing as His Bride, getting ready for His soon return as our Bridegroom-----
2Chron 20:21-23
And when he had consulted with the people, he (King Jehoshaphat) appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for His mercy endureth for ever. And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten. For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them: and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy another.
This is a very popular scripture in 2nd Chronicles 20 of stirring our faith and encouraging us to put our trust in God... As you'll recall 3 different armies came together to attack Judah, and the King at the time - King Jehoshaphat - ran to God for assistance. And after a prophetic word ---that the battle was the Lord's !!--King Jehoshaphat placed the singers in front of the army, and so they marched towards their enemies, praising God - and declaring that HIS MERCY endures forever !!
And when God heard this, He moved on their behalf, and placed ambushments amongst the 3 enemy camps (a surprise attack from a hidden position) - and so these enemies then turned against each other and started fighting each other, even destroying each other..!!
We give thanks to our Almighty Provider and to YOU our partners to this ministry - as without your support, we can not make a difference in the DRC (Congo). But with your prayers and support, through our Repentance Preaching Pastors moving around their country, they are winning souls, and seeking whom they can assist, PLANTING, and show forth God's LOVE.
Now, As you might recall - there have been numerous fights going on in the Eastern parts of the DRC - mostly in the cities of Goma and Bukavu - since the beginning of this year. And, even though there is a "Cease-Fire" agreement currently in place, there are still lots of unrest which does not make the news headlines, and with Pastor Armstrong living in Bukavu, he is trying hard to continue to Minister and Preach Repentance in the midst of all this chaos going on around his city - going around helping as many people as he possibly can to get off the streets, and find safe places to stay, food to eat, etc... But it sure isn't an easy task, and his life as well as those of his church members are all in constant danger. Any place can be burnt down in a moments' notice, and people find themselves on the street without any prior warning, or able to plan for the inevitable. It all depends on what the rebels might feel like on that day...
Now, below follows the latest feedback received today from Ps Armstrong, from the latest events happening very near where he stays, seriously affecting a fellow pastor and his congregation and community - all due to 2 separate Rebel Groups fighting each other...!!
But then in the midst of all this chaos, a Miracle Happened - Ps Armstrong's Church was untouched and unharmed !!
Hi Pastor Susan, here is the situation of DRC for which we need your prayers !
Yesterday in Mwenga (just south of Bukavu) two groups of rebels had a fight. One Group want to control the area, and they had a rough escalation in the village - as you can see on the photos, houses of our pastors and church members have been put on fire. Only our church has been speared by God. Nothing bad reached the church. 5 of the members of the church and pastor of the church fled in the bush to look for shelter.
This last time, aids are much needed in Congo as war is ongoing in many places. We are crossing a difficult time, and help is needed. Some people lost their lives and beloved during the last escalation. Your prayer can help to stop this war, and your support can save families and babies who are living in the bush.
This is the current situation in Mwenga two group of rebels are fighting to take control of the village now people are victim as you see on the photos those are the houses of our members and Pastor house. Our church is just close to them but God spared it.
The pastor informed us that the war started on Saturday, and they fled the same day in the bush for shelter. Yesterday, he went to see if things came down, but he was surprised that their houses were burned by rebels. Now, they are still in the bush until things come back to normal. They are in big anxiety and urgently need support to rescue their families with foods in this hard time!

This message from Ps Armstrong, just reminded me of the whole situation in 2nd Chron 20. Reminding us, that as they are preaching Repentance in their churches, now God stepped in and protected his church when everything else was set on fire all around..!!
What a testimony: this is for what they are standing for !!
But please keep Ps Armstrong in your prayers - that God will continue to strengthen him, and protect his life every day, and use him mightily in his country!!
May God Bless the DRC - and answer the prayers of His people in the midst of this chaos !
