Reassign Classrooms and Re-enroll Children in DRDP Online for Spring

For step by step instructions, we recommend viewing the Reassign Classes and Re-enroll Children tutorial (also available on the DRDP Resources YouTube channel).

Classroom Reassignment and Rating Periods

  • Administrators assign existing classrooms to the new rating period.
  • Go to the Setup Menu and select Teacher Assignment and Rating Periods.
  • Select + (Add) Teacher Assignments and Rating Periods.
  • In the pop-up window, under the Classroom dropdown field, select the name of the classroom you wish to reassign.
  • Select the teacher of record from the Teacher of Record dropdown field and the new rating period you wish to assign the classroom to under the Rating Period dropdown field.
  • Select Save.

Transfer or Re-enroll Children

  • Children’s ratings must be locked in the previous rating period.
  • Select the Manage Enrollment tab from the menu.
  • Then select Search & Management Enrollment.
  • Enter the rating period you are moving the children from and the classroom name.
  • Then select Search to view children's names.
  • Select the children's names to transfer or reenroll.
  • Select Transfer or Re-enroll.
  • The pop-up screen will ask for a classroom start date. (This is the date the child is enrolled in the new rating period, not the agency enrollment date.) The classroom start date must be within the rating period window (see Standard Rating Period Date Ranges 2024-2025).
  • Select Transfer or Re-enroll.

  • ATL-REG 1: Attention Maintenance
  • ATL-REG 4: Curiosity and Initiative in Learning

  • COG 10: Documentation and Communication of Inquiry
  • COG 11: Knowledge of the Natural World

Developmental Domain: Language and Literacy Development (LLD)

  • LLD 1: Understanding of Language (Receptive)
  • LLD 2: Responsiveness to Language

Developmental Domain: Social and Emotional Development (SED)

  • SED 3: Relationships and Social Interactions with Familiar Adults
