Prevent Common Upload Errors with These Tips

Check Header and Agency Name

  • Confirm the agency name is correct (spelling, spacing, grammar, and capitalization).
  • Ensure the site names match on the template and how they read in DRDP Online.
  • Make sure the upload template has not been altered and tabs and columns have not been deleted.
  • Verify the DRDP view within DRDP Online matches the template's DRDP view. For example, PSE/Preschool Essential View is used on the template, but the DRDP view is set as PSC/Preschool Comprehensive. While you are checking your view, if you are using a licensed vendor, check that you have selected the vendor also.

Create Classes in the Correct Rating Period

  • If you receive the message, "Teacher and Class Combo Do Not Exist," make sure to create classes in DRDP Online in the rating period you are uploading to.
  • Go to Add, Edit, and Classes and then search the rating period and/or site in DRDP Online to verify the classes are created and have correct matching spelling, capitalization, and spacing between words.
  • Go to user accounts and check that the user has one email address. (Sometimes users have two accounts.)

Remember...Follow the guidelines, values, and required fields shown on the upload file's info tab to ensure success.
