Reminder: Select and Lock DRDP Rating Views

At the start of each fiscal year, the agency's lead administrator must select and lock the DRDP Ratings Views. Users who try to lock ratings before the agency's rating views are locked will see an error message. The Lead Agency Administrator can log in to DRDP Online and follow these steps:

• Go to Setup Menu.
• Select Rating View Setup and then Search.
• Then, either update the DRDP View for each age level or select Save and Lock if they remain the same.

Setting Up Classes for Fall

For help uploading child demographics into DRDP Online, this informative video provides guidance on adding child data with upload templates. This video and other short tutorials are available on the DRDP Resources YouTube channel. Learn how DRDP Online administrators and data entry analysts can upload massive numbers of users, classes, and children into the DRDP Online system.

New Professional Development Module Series: Creating Equitable Early Learning Environments for Young Boys of Color

The California Department of Social Services, in partnership with WestEd, is delighted to announce a module series and facilitator module available on California Early Childhood Online (CECO):

• Creating Equitable Early Learning Environments for Young Boys of Color available in English, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese
• Facilitating Creating Equitable Early Learning Environments for Young Boys of Color available in English

Program for Infant/Toddler Care Trainer Certification: 2024-25 Virtual Trainer Institute

The Program for Infant/Toddler Care (PITC) will offer a fully virtual PITC Trainer Institute in 2024-25, jointly conducted by the California Department of Social Services, Child Care and Development Division, and WestEd.

The PITC Trainer Institute provides a supportive community of practice model approach to learning PITC content and training skills for educators, program managers, and other professionals responsible for supervising and training infant/toddler care providers, teachers, and home visitors.

Dates and additional information about the Institute are now available at PITC.

California Early Childhood Online (CECO)

CECO provides free training modules on multiple topics, including the Desired Results Developmental Profile (DRDP), dual language learners, and modules on Creating Equitable Early Learning Environments for Young Boys of Color.
