New 2025-2026 Program Year Begins!

We are excited to work with you using DRDP Online to support children's learning and development.

It's Time to Set DRDP Assessment Views

Lead Agency Administrators

It's time to select the DRDP views for each age level for your center, agency, or school district for the 2025-26 program year. Each organization's designated lead agency administrator must select the DRDP view for their entire agency on an annual basis. Download this list of measures and views for DRDP (2015) or DRDP (2025) for reference.

The DRDP view may only be changed once each fiscal year. Once selected, the view remains the same until July 2026. These resources for administrators will help when you're ready to make that selection:

California Programs Participating in DRDP (2025) Early Adoption

Programs that opt in can use the DRDP (2025) instead of DRDP (2015) or use both. Please note that the DRDP (2015) remains a requirement for children with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs).

Programs participating in the Early Adoption of DRDP (2025) will need their Lead Agency Administrator to select 2025 rating views before enrolling children into the Fall 2025 rating period. Programs may choose the DRDP (2025) for a classroom, a site, or an agency. For more information, visit Desired Results for Children and Families.

The Fall Rating Period is Open

  • The fall rating period is available. Classes can be added, and children can be re-enrolled.
  • The summer rating period runs through August 31, 2025. You can add classes and re-enroll children now.

Is the Lead Agency Administrator for Your DRDP Online Account Changing Roles?

Is the DRDP Online lead agency administrator at your agency or program changing? If so, please email the Desired Results team the name and contact information of the new person assigned the role of DRDP Online lead agency administrator. This email should be sent directly from or copied to the program's executive director or superintendent.

The main difference between the lead agency administrator and an agency administrator role is the ability to select the view of the assessment for the entire agency. Therefore, your agency should have only one lead agency administrator.
