DRDP (2025) Reports Available for Fall 2025 and Winter 2025-26

Raw rating reports will be available in Fall 2025 and Winter 2025-26. In Spring 2026, the field study will be complete, and scaled scores will be available. WestEd will re-run all reports so that scaled scores reports for fall, winter, and spring will be available in time for program self-evaluations.

Class Planning Report Preschool–Transitional Kindergarten (PTK)

The Class Planning Report (PTK) allows users to select a rating period and a classroom to generate a raw score report by measure for all the children in the classroom. The report will not include scaled scores for these children until the reports are rerun in Spring 2026. View a sample Class Planning Report Preschool–Transitional Kindergarten (PTK).

2025 Parent Progress Report

The Parent Progress Report will be a raw score report showing children's ratings for each measure. This report may be used for parent conferences. In Spring 2026, reports will be rerun to include graphics and descriptors to show the child’s rating and additional descriptive information about their progress over the year. 2025 Group Detail Report

The Group Detail Report for 2025 will show all raw scores by percentage and count for the selected group within the current year (to date). The group may be for all children or filtered using specific criteria. Domain-scaled scores will not show until reports are rerun in Spring 2026. View a sample 2025 Group Detail Report.

Reminder to Select and Lock DRDP Rating Views

DRDP Online Lead Agency Administrators must select and lock their agency’s annual DRDP ratings views by early fall. Programs still completing 2024-25 ratings must remain in the DRDP (2015) view until those ratings are locked.

To select and lock annual ratings views, follow the steps below:

  • Select the Setup Menu and Ratings View Setup tabs.
  • Then, select Search and update the DRDP View for each age level.
  • For the 2025-26 school year, views must be selected for DRDP (2015) and an option must be selected for DRDP (2025). If the agency is not early adopting, N/A must be selected.
  • Select Save and Lock

Programs that are early adopters of the DRDP (2025) must select the DRDP (2025) views. Classrooms and Teacher Assignments must also be created at this time before adding child records for fall 2025.

If your agency's Lead Agency Administrator has changed, please contact drdponline@wested.org for guidance.

California Early Childhood Programs—Become an Early Adopter of DRDP (2025)

The California Department of Social Services (CDSS) and California Department of Education (CDE), in partnership with WestEd, are inviting California programs serving infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and TK–grade 3 students to become early adopters of the DRDP (2025) beginning Fall 2025. Programs that opt in can use DRDP (2025) instead of DRDP (2015) OR use both.

Please note that for children with an Individualized Education Program (IEP) or an Individualized Family Services Plan (IFSP), the DRDP (2015) remains a requirement.
