Dear Colleagues,

The Democracy, Human Rights and Governance (DRG) Bureau is pleased to announce the DRG Fundamentals curriculum is now available in USAID University.

What are DRG Fundamentals?

The DRG Fundamentals curriculum is a series of eLearning courses that provide a strong foundation for understanding USAID's approach within a diverse range of DRG sectors. From Rule of Law to Civil Society and Media, and Governance, the DRG Fundamentals courses equip learners with a basis for understanding how we, as USAID DRG practitioners, view this work and what core concepts must be understood to enhance our work. This is about creating a solid and common understanding of how USAID DRG functions, operates, and programs across its diverse sectors. The eLearning courses are designed to be engaging and interactive. They are meant to support you in your professional development and to address the tough challenges we face every day in DRG.

Watch this video to better understand how DRG Fundamentals can benefit you.

Learning and professional development are central to our success as DRG practitioners and democracy champions around the globe. We encourage you to explore these courses and to recommend your colleagues do the same. Whether for a few minutes or a few hours, you can engage in and benefit from these eLearning courses whenever and wherever you’d like.

We appreciate everything you do every day and in every corner of the globe to advance democracy, human rights, and good governance globally.

Sincerely,

Karolyn Kuo
