HERE I AM AGAIN

SORRY FOR SUCH A LONG WAIT BUT TO BE PERFECTLY HONEST I DIDN'T HAVE TOO MUCH TO SAY UNTIL THIS PASSED WEEK.

And what a fab week it has been with lovely work produced. Sadly not by me but by the lovely students.

There have been two courses one with Drusilla Cole on Printing and the other was with Dorothy Tucker, an on-line course, where the students had a couple of months to finish their Kantha pieces.

Let me start with Dorothy's class.

You will see in these first two pictures how the students had to draw a plan of a room and then fill it with objects which had to fit in this space. These drawings gave the tutor an idea of what they were planning to do. The final pictures are the finished works and in one case a sampler on which ideas had to be tried out first of all to judge scale or stitch, fabric chosen etc.

If you are interested in the next course Dorothy will be doing a few spaces remain, but most of these students rebooked because of the amazing experience they all had this time.
