DS|Manage360 v3.14  Update
Your DS|Manage360 site will be automatically updated to the latest version starting tonight at:  10:30 PM EST November 29 , 2016 We expect this update may take up to an hour, during which time your site may be unavailable.
What's been added, improved, and changed:
  1. Invoice Status can now be edited from the list page when an invoice has not yet been synced or when the Accounting Integration module is off.
  2. Job and Work Order Billing sections now list the invoices in the new style. The invoice statuses will now show along with the posted state.
  3. The invoice detail page has the following:
    • The dates are now all in the standard format
    • The status and check numbers are now read only if the invoice is posted with QuickBooks.
    • The posted status now shows as a badge.
  4. Wherever an invoice shows up in the system (invoice lists, links, job billing, timesheets, etc.) it will now show in a standard format.
    • The invoice number will be a link to the invoice.
    • The status will show as an orange warning badge if the status is "Unpaid" or "Partially Paid".
    • The status will show as a green success badge if the status is "Paid".
    • If accounting integration is activated:
      • If the invoice is unposted, it will be labelled as such with a blue badge.
      • If the invoice is posted, it will be labelled with a grey badge.
  5. The billing section has been updated. The old "To Be Invoiced" tab has been replaced with a new "Billables" tab and the old Invoice tabs (To Be Posted, and Posted) have been combined into a new "Invoices" tab.  
    • Billables
      • You now have a list of all the jobs that are ready (or partially ready) for billing.
      • Within each job, each billable item (work areas, milestones, % complete, work orders, installments, etc.) will be listed.
      • Account contacts and addresses will now be included.
      • If the account has a billing account associated with it, that will be listed as well.
      • The amounts are now all amalgamated into one Amount column which is the pre-tax total of the billable item.
      • The old "Common Actions" menu button has been replaced with just a "Create Invoices" button.
    • Invoices
      • All invoices (both Posted and Unposted) are now on the one tab.  You can modify your views to filter for one or the other.
      • If the invoice's account has a billing account associated with it, that will be listed as well.
      • There is now just one Amount column which is the invoice total.
      • The invoice status and posted status will now show in the new style.
      • The old "Common Actions" menu button has been replaced with just a "Post Invoices" button. Only unposted invoices may be posted.
      • All the posting features and information will be hidden if Accounting Integration isn't used.
  6. The existing statuses for invoices have been changed from "Pending", "Approved", and "Paid"  to a new set of statuses. The new statues are "New", "Approved", "Unpaid", "Partially Paid", and "Paid".  Any invoice using the old "Pending" status is now using the status "New".  All invoices, reports, and views have been updated to reflect these changes.
What's been fixed:
  1. A new Job Progress indicator has been added for construction jobs. It tracks the rolled-up progress across the original contract and approved change orders. If the job does not have any invoices, updating the progress will set the percentage complete of the original contract and any approved change orders. This progress value will be used for the total Job Actuals % Complete and earned amount on Job Analysis.
  2. Milestone Billing on Construction Jobs now allows setting specific payments amount. When the payment schedule does not add up to the expected the total, the variance and expected amount will be displayed. Editing of the sales tax amount included in a milestone payment has been removed for jobs and change orders. 
  3. When the configuration setting to show the lead item name beside the kit is enabled, the supplier name will not be included in the kit name on Construction Estimates, Change Orders, and Work Orders. This long-standing behavior was inadvertently changed when the supplier name was added to the lead item drop down. 
  4. Invoices for work orders that have certain characters (such as double-quotes) in the work order names were causing the invoice detail page to generate an error and not load correctly. These special characters will no longer cause a problem.
  5. Tasks created from task sets will now retain the sort order defined in the task set.  First by due date, then by the task set sort order.
  6. Account on the construction job detail page has been moved above the contact on the right hand side, reducing vertical scrolling.  
  7. Fixed an issue that could cause the job and individual work area percent complete values to be out of sync.
  8. Resolved an issue setting the start and end times on the job log of additional employees added to a timesheet.
