A Note from the Conference Chair


Excitement continues to build for the DSA 2027 Conference in Baltimore! Our planning committee has been hard at work creating a conference that offers something for everyone—from educational workshops and networking opportunities to exciting new experiences like the AgeTech Forum, Memory Café, DeafBlind Social Hour, and expanded activities focused on healthy aging and community engagement.


We recently released our Sponsorship & Exhibitor Opportunities, and we're thrilled by the interest from organizations looking to connect with Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard of Hearing older adults from across the country. Hotel reservation information will be available in August 2026, so stay tuned for booking details.

AgeTech is dedicated to helping older adults, ncluding Deaf, hard of hearing, DeafBlind individuals, and people with disabilities, confidently access, understand, and benefit from technology. Through education, accessible resources, community engagement, and practical technology solutions, AgeTech supports independence, lifelong learning, and meaningful connection.

  • Gather at the Maryland Deaf Community Center for dinner and bingo


Saturday – Lancaster

  • Scenic drive through Lancaster County
  • Tour an Amish homestead
  • Browse a local farmers market
  • Traditional family-style smorgasbord dinner


Saturday – Washington, D.C.

  • Visit national monuments
  • Visit the Holocaust Museum and Smithsonian museums
  • Explore the National Mall and have lunch on your own

New Experiences Coming to DSA 2027!


We're expanding the DSA Conference with exciting new experiences designed to inform, connect, and inspire.


  • AgeTech Experiences – Explore accessible technologies that promote safety, wellness, independence, and healthy aging.


  • Memory Café A welcoming gathering space for Deaf seniors, care partners, and families to connect and share.


  • Educational Workshops – Sessions may include financial planning, Medicare, retirement planning, investing, brain health, wellness, caregiving, and other topics important to Deaf older adults.


  • DeafBlind Social Hour Connect with DeafBlind attendees, friends, and allies in a relaxed, accessible social setting.


  • Speed Dating – Meet new friends, expand your social circle, and enjoy a fun, interactive networking experience.


  • And More to Come! – Look forward to interactive sessions, leadership conversations, networking opportunities, and community-building activities.
