Commencement is such a special time for the Alumni & Friends Association; it's a chance for us to meet new alumni and to share the benefits of joining the association and to promote upcoming activities like Bowling for Scholarships (July 13) as well as this year's Homecoming (Oct. 11-13).

This spring we published the latest DSC Magazine featuring business alumni sharing their career paths, revealing varied goals, decisive shifts and reinventions. You can read it online at DaytonaState.edu/Magazine or request a copy to be mailed to you.

58th annual Commencement

Student Government Association President, Sofia Rivas (pictured here with DSC President Dr. LoBasso), has served the student body well this past year, and it will be disappointing to see her leave the college. Hopefully she will return for Homecoming 2018, especially for the Mr. & Ms. DSC pageant which she chaired last year.

More than 3,400 students joined the ranks of Daytona State College alumni during commencement ceremonies on Monday, May 14.    VIEW PHOTOESSAY
