A letter from the President...
If you were able to attend the DSC Summer Expo & Foundation Gala at the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine, then you will know that it was one of the best events we have ever had! The attendance of members, outfitters & conservationists alike was outstanding. Our keynote speaker, Michael Schneider, of Driftwood Valley Outfitters gave a very informative and moving speech. DVO is also an outfitter who donated a goat hunt to DSC South Texas at our Gala back in March and we cannot wait to hear stories from our member who purchased this experience.
At the DSC summer gala, the announcement of the Global Care Fund was introduced. The goal of this fund is to protect and aid the outfitters, guides, scientists and biologists that work on the frontlines daily. It is truly something we can all stand behind and support. As we look forward to planning our next gala, which is March 21, 2026, we would like to ask our members who purchased a hunt or trip from any of our past gala’s if they have any pictures they would like to submit to us as we would like to include them in our next gala program! THIS Saturday, September 20th, 2025 is our Annual dove hunt at Seco Creek Ranch located just south of San Antonio in Devine, Texas. Whether you are a seasoned hunter or a first-timer, this event is for you to have fun with friends, enjoy a delicious dinner, & support a great cause!
