A Couple Reminders...

✔️ Please remember that you cannot post any person served on your personal social media accounts. This includes but is not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, BeReal, YouTube, Threads, X, Reddit, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc.

✔️ The Kistler Center will be closed from December 23rd - December 26th for Christmas. We will reopen on December 29th. There will be someone on call during this time.

DSP Resources

We now have a dedicated DSP Resources section on the Kistler Center website. You will find a feedback form on the home page. Within the DSP Resource Menu, you will find a staff directory, HR information, general policies/expectations, a calendar of community events, community resources, and more. Human Resources Update

Please give a warm welcome to Tiffany Faulkner, our new CES Waiver Human Resources Specialist!


Tiffany earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Arkansas and brings over ten years of HR experience to our team. She has a passion for helping people and believes in the power of continued learning and personal growth.


When she’s not at work, Tiffany enjoys reading, traveling, and hiking with her 8-year-old lab, Izzy. She’s a big fan of The Wizard of Oz and Wicked, and dreams of one day attending the world’s largest hot air balloon festival in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Tiffany is proud to be part of a team that values positivity, collaboration, and care.

DSP of the Month

Congratulations to Louis Vincent on being chosen as the

November 2025 DSP of the Month!


Louis has been a DSP with the Kistler Center since August 2024!


"Louis is the punctuality pro, communication champ, and the guy who will get things done. He provides excellent care to his person served! You can catch Louis taking his person served to the gym or on the trails in their ATV."

Criteria to be Selected for DSP of the Month:

  • Consistent, on- time attendance for shifts
  • Good attitude
  • Flexible
  • Consistently clocks in/out
  • Consistently turns in paperwork on time
  • Good communication with CCSs, Person(s) Served, HR
  • Regularly checks email and answers text messages/phone calls
  • Organized
  • Follows Plan of Care for Person Served


To nominate someone for DSP of the Month, please email their first and last name and why you are nominating them to dev@kistlercenter.org.


Nominations for December are due Wednesday, December 17th. Center Staff, DSPs, and Persons Served can all nominate someone for DSP of the Month.


The CES Waiver Leadership Team in partnership with HR and the Executive Director will review the nominations to make a selection each month. All DSPs who are nominated will be given a shout out.

Laura Moses - "Laura works about 55 hours a week with her person served and is amazing! She communicates extremely well with the rest of her person served DSP’s. She is very flexible, she’s great at encouraging her person served to get out and do stuff. She is a big motivator for her person served and is very sweet!"


Melissa Carter & Merissa Carter - "We'd like to shout out Melissa and Merissa Carter for their willingness to jump in, help cover shifts with other persons served and being flexible with their schedules. We appreciate your help!"


Rosalina Portillo - "I'd love to give a huge shout out to a wonderful young lady I barely know that has blown me away with how amazing she is with her person! And I can see her person adores her as well! She works so hard and is the sweetest, patient, most caring young person I've ever met! In my opinion she deserves to be employee of the month every month! Thank you Rosalina for all you do and I'm so glad the Kistler Center placed you with the wonderful family they did!"
