If your person served is going to have a change in their PASSE, please let your CCS know BEFORE the change happens so that we can make sure that there isn't a disruption in their services.

Join us for a Kistler Center Bingo Night!

We are excited to host our first Bingo Night at Central Christian Church on Thursday, February 19th. Bingo will take place from 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm.

Whether you are bringing your person served or just want to come hang out and grab a snack, we'd love to see you! Come by for a great night!

Your Person Served can be a King or Queen at Night to Shine!

Night to Shine is an inclusive event that allows individuals 14 and up with special needs to interact with others and enjoy a night of fun. A sensory room is provided for anyone who may need to take a break and every King and Queen who attends is 1:1 with an assigned buddy.

The evening is designed to allow caregivers a bit of a break and the Kings and Queens the opportunity to be themselves and enjoy a fun night out. Attire is whatever your person served is most comfortable wearing. Some individuals come in formal wear while others choose to wear jeans. Just be sure they wear comfortable shoes to dance in!



If your person served plans to attend Night to Shine, please let your CCS know that they will be attending!

On the registration, there is a question that asks if your person served is a part of a group/agency. Please put "no." You and your person served are definitely a part of The Kistler Center, but after talking with the organizers, it is best if you put no because we do not offer group transportation and our persons served who are attending will not be arriving all together. This will help sign in go more smoothly for everyone.

Congratulations to Adam Wilkins on being chosen as the

December 2025 DSP of the Month!

Adam has been a DSP with the Kistler Center since October 2025!

Criteria to be Selected for DSP of the Month:

• Consistent, on- time attendance for shifts
• Good attitude
• Flexible
• Consistently clocks in/out
• Consistently turns in paperwork on time
• Good communication with CCSs, Person(s) Served, HR
• Regularly checks email and answers text messages/phone calls
• Organized
• Follows Plan of Care for Person Served

To nominate someone for DSP of the Month, please email their first and last name and why you are nominating them to dev@kistlercenter.org.

Nominations for January are due Wednesday, January 28th. Center Staff, DSPs, and Persons Served can all nominate someone for DSP of the Month.

The CES Waiver Leadership Team in partnership with HR and the Executive Director will review the nominations to make a selection each month. All DSPs who are nominated will be given a shout out.
