SCC Submits Additional Coalition Partner Enrollments
The SCC has submitted all new Coalition Partner enrollments to NYS DOH. The result of this enrollment will increase our number of partners in Suffolk County. In addition, with the addition of new partners, it will support our achievement of our provider engagement speed and scale. There was a total of 250 NPI/Names enrolled from the NYS DOH non-affiliated Provider List. We welcome all new members!

Medical Record Abstraction Progress
The SCC Coalition Partner Medical Record Abstraction is underway; partners selected have been notified and contacted by the NYS DOH medical record review vendor to schedule appointments for chart abstractions. These chart abstractions are tied to PPS measurement of the Domain 2 and 3 outcomes measures. For more information, please access the NYS DOH Medical Record Review Training presentation.

Medicaid Opt-Out Letter
The NYS DOH has initiated a plan to send letters explaining the DSRIP program's state-wide efforts on healthcare system change, and a data sharing opt-out to Medicaid members. The NYS DOH recently released a Frequently Asked Question (FAQ) document related to the Medicaid Opt-Out mailing.The FAQ highlights What is DSRIP, DSRIP Data Sharing, Opt-Out Mailing procedures, additional clarifications for opting out, and has clarified opt-out procedures for minors. Medicaid Transportation Program Policy & Processes Webinar
There will be a "State-Administered Transportation" live recorded webinar held on December 17, 2015 at 2:00 PM EST.  The webinar is intended to provide the PPS community with an overview of the Medicaid transportation program policies and processes. Each webinar is scheduled for 90 minutes to allow for a Question and Answer (Q&A) period following the presentation. Click here to register with the NYS DSRIP Team.
Survey Update: Workforce/Current State Assessment Survey    
The Workforce/Current State Assessment Survey was distributed to our partners the first two weeks of November. The survey was designed to collect information regarding each Partner's information technology infrastructure, project-related readiness, training need, cultural competency and health literacy practices and workforce in select job families. The completed survey will not only help the SCC fulfill a DOH requirement but also provide us with essential information we need for planning purposes.
The final due date of December 31, 2015 is quickly approaching and we would appreciate your continued support with completing the survey.

Project Advisory Committee Meeting Reminder
The PAC Meeting will provide an overview of the SCC On-boarding Program, which includes Contracting & Funds Flow.

All PPS Coalition Partners are welcomed to join the next Project Advisory Committee (PAC) Meeting scheduled for December 22nd from 10:00am-11:00am.
