Presentations from the Upstate PPS PAOP Posted Online
The NYS DOH DSRIP website has been updated to include the presentations delivered by 12 PPS's to the Project Approval and Oversight Panel (PAOP) on November 9th-10th, 2015. Presentations included updates from each PPS on topics such as governance, funds flow, best practices, challenges and strategies. Presentations may be viewed here.   

New Section of NYS DOH DSRIP Webpage for PPS's
The Department of Health is pleased to announce that the Information by PPS section of their website is now live and can be accessed here. This section contains links to the state-wide PPS Contact List, PPS Network Partners as well as a link to a newly created webpage for DSRIP Performing Provider Systems (PPS). This site is intended to be a place for all PPS public information and will continue to expand over time.  

Round Two of Regulatory Waiver Requests

Initiating the SCC Primary & Behavioral Health Integrated Care Program    
DSRIP Project 3ai team is excited to share the new program-name of DSRIP Project 3ai, the SCC Primary & Behavioral Health Integrated Care Program.
We've completed a series of on-site Integrated Care (IC) current state assessments with a group of primary care and behavioral Health coalition partners. In total, 72 PCP's across 15 primary care sites and 55 behavioral health providers across 6 practice sites will be initiating an IC model early next year. The SCC plans to roll out 3-4 phases of implementation for the Primary & Behavioral Health Integrated Care Program throughout the next 2-3 years. With the support of our new Integrated Care Program Coordinator, engagement of our expert advisors at the North Carolina Center for Excellence for Integrated Care, and our subject matter experts participating in our workgroup and committees, we're gearing up for a comprehensive implementation phase.

Welcoming new Staff to the Suffolk Care Collaborative Team
The Suffolk Care Collaborative is excited to welcome new staff into our DSRIP program implementations efforts.

Susan Jayson, Integrated Care Program Coordinator
After graduating Tufts University and beginning her MBA, Susan was charged with creating and implementing marketing departments in the field of accounting.  After receiving her Masters in Social Work she went on to work in various mental health settings, ultimately landing at South Oaks Hospital.  There she helped to develop and build an outpatient mental health clinic for children and adolescents.  As Director of that program she was able to grow the program to serve 300 individuals and their families using evidenced based practices in a field that has a dearth of providers.  Under her direction patients were able to access care not only in the clinic, but integrated into schools,  homes and Primary Care offices. Now Susan, as the Integrated Care Program Coordinator at SCC, is responsible for integrating behavioral health and primary care under the DSRIP program.

Lucas Magnani, Provider Engagement Liaison  
Lucas comes to the SCC with 6 years of health care experience from the arena of Medical Device Sales, previously working as a Sales Representative for both Johnson & Johnson and Stryker under each of their respective Orthopaedic Surgical Solutions Umbrella's. Lucas has worked extensively with physicians, ambulatory care centers and hospitals throughout the tri-state region in multiple capacities related to early intervention sales consulting combined with operating room sales, service, and training. He holds a Bachelors of Business Administration in Management and Organization from the University of Iowa, as well as completing an academic year at Brown University.

Alyse Marotta, Program Assistant, Project Management Office
Alyse is currently pursuing her Master's in Public Health, with a concentration in Community Health, at Stony Brook University. Alyse received a BA in Health & Human Kinetics from Ohio Wesleyan University. Alyse has experience working as a community health educator for Calvert Memorial Hospital in Maryland. In addition, Alyse come to us from the Stony Brook Medicine Department of Family, Population and Preventive Medicine where she was the Project Staff Assistant and Grant Coordinator for the Nutrition Division.
