The New York State Department of Health has announced Value Based Payment (VBP) Regional Bootcamp learning series, this series will provide information about VBP and ensure a successful transition to its implementation!
These sessions will be directed towards all parties that will be implementing Medicaid payment reform. However, the content addressed will be most relevant to those who have little to no experience in executing value-based contracts.
NYS has been divided into five regions where each session will occur. The series will be completed over the course of three all-day sessions. The Long Island/Queens region sessions are scheduled for later this year, click here for the schedule, links to register and links to join all live webcasts. Sessions will be recorded and available for those of you who can not attend.

WORKFORCE COMPENSATION & BENEFIT SURVEY
Reminder to all of our Partners who have received the SCC Compensation and Benefit Survey from *KPMG, the survey is due next week: Friday, June 3, 2016.
This is a major milestone of DSRIP in New York State that the SCC is participating in to produce a compensation and benefit analysis, covering impacts on both retrained and redeployed staff, as well as new staff as a result of the DSRIP program. Your survey submissions are vital for successful completion of this analysis.
Thank you to all our Partners who have already submitted their surveys! We appreciate your willingness to complete the Compensation & Benefit Survey and we thank you in advance for your time and cooperation.
For more information, please contact Christopher Williams, KPMG the SCC's Workforce Consultant vendor at your earliest convenience.
SCC Presents at this week's All-PPS Performance Logic Demonstration
Performance Logic (PL) hosted a webinar for fifteen PPS clients to share best practices and experiences in implementing the DSRIP projects using PL's DSRIP Tracker platform. The North Country Initiative (NCI) as well as the Suffolk Care Collaborative (SCC) presented how PL is used in our PPS's.
Samuel Lin, Project Manager for Network Strategy, SCC communicated how PL is utilized to face the challenges of managing provider-level reporting and work flows to collect supporting documents to validate provider engagement within the DSRIP projects. At the SCC, we've created provider-level implementation plans and assigned them to our PPS Partner provider location sites. This way, the SCC can manage and monitor provider engagement across our network.
The SCC also shared how each HUB is using PL to manage project requirements and tasks of the DOH implementation plan, ensuring pertinent documents are collected to satisfy task completion. The SCC is appreciative that PL organized this forum to share best practices and collaborate among the PPSs. We are looking forward to this continued collaboration!
