Greetings!

As August comes to a close, we hope you had a wonderful summer. Many of you are back to school and gearing up for the fourth quarter. In your busy routines, we hope that you can take a moment to review our quarterly newsletter, the “DTK Digest.” Our goal is to highlight the latest resources within our organization and provide helpful information to you regarding facility care. We are grateful for each of you and appreciate your time. Enjoy!
Providing Vital Services to Children and Families
DTK Facility Services was proud to be a sponsor of one of the largest charitable events in the nation, the H-E-B Tournament of Champions which annually raises millions of dollars to support Texas nonprofits. This year's annual event set a new record, bringing in $10.8 million. In its 37 years, the organization has now generated more than $145 million to support Texas children and families.
Hygienic Cleaning to Eliminate The Spread of Monkeypox

We are monitoring Monkeypox as the virus spreads across the world. The first case of Monkeypox was reported on May 5th in London, today, 88 countries have confirmed an aggregate amount of 28,000 cases globally. The first confirmed case in the U.S. was on May 18th and there are over 7,500 confirmed cases in the U.S. today. This virus is spread different than Covid-19 as Covid-19 is primarily spread through airborne exposures; Monkeypox is primarily spread through the exchange of fluids. Monkeypox is most frequently transmitted through one-on-one relationships, in large part through the transferring of fluids. The transfer of fluids can range from touching a glass after someone infected has left fluid on the glass, shaking hands, hugging, kissing, etc. While the numbers of confirmed cases remains low in the U.S. today, we are training our teams to focus on hygienic cleaning where fluids can more easily be exchanged (frequently touched spots and surface like handles on doors, restrooms, railings, etc.) so we can help all of us to do our best to stay in front of Monkeypox.

The Benefits of Commercial Pressure Washing

Commercial buildings are constantly exposed to elements such as dirt, debris, pollution, graffiti, and everyday foot traffic. To help keep your building looking it’s best, consider hiring DTK to pressure wash it on a regular basis. Regular pressure washing will make maintenance easier and can reduce the need for expensive repairs.

DTK pressure washing and restriping includes:
  • Cleaning Parking Lots & Other Surfaces
  • Licensed Waste Transporter
  • Compliance with all state & federal laws

If your property needs this important service, we can help you prepare a budget to include regular pressure washing.
Cleanliness not only improves the overall health and safety within your facility, it can also have a direct impact on the positive morale of those working in the building every day. Contact us to receive a complimentary estimate or more information about our services for your school, commercial building, religious facility or grocery store.

Sincerely,
Ryan Bishop
