FUTURE HIGH SCHOOL SITE SELECTED: During the June 12, 2018, School Board meeting, the District took action to identify the “Promenade” site as the location of the Dublin Unified School District’s new high school. Following the recommendation by the District and public comment, the Board of Trustees approved the recommendation. More information and a Q&A can be found at: [ More here ]
UPDATED ENROLLMENT AND RESIDENCY VERIFICATION PROCESS: At the Board of Trustees meeting on June 12, 2018, the Educational Services staff presented changes in enrollment procedures for the upcoming school year, including bringing back residency verification, summer enrollment, and changes to the affidavit process.Please visit the District website to review these important changes. 2018 LOCAL CONTROL ACCOUNTABILITY PLAN AVAILABLE FOR PUBLIC REVIEW: The Dublin Unified School District's 2018 Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) is now available for public review. The Dublin community is invited to submit questions and comments regarding the 2018 LCAP.  [ More here ]
COTTONWOOD CREEK RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONY: The Dublin community is invited to a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Cottonwood Creek School & Park. The event will take place on August 11 at 10:30 a.m. at 2400 Central Parkway, Dublin, CA 94568 [ More here ]
LIVERMORE VALLEY WINE AUCTION RAISES MONEY FOR LOCAL STEAM PROGRAMS: On September 29th, the Livermore Valley Wine Auction will be held at the Event Center at Wente Vineyards. In 2012, The Livermore Valley Winegrowers Foundation and The Wente Foundation for Arts Education (WFAE) began working together to present the Livermore Valley Wine Auction. The mission of The Wente Foundation for Arts Education is to raise money to support arts education programs in the Livermore Valley. This partnership enables both organizations to more effectively meet the needs of children in the East Bay. Recently WFAE donated over $7,500 to DUSD for the purchase musical instruments.  [ More here ]

DUBLIN HIGH WINS INAUGURAL RAIDERS U 7-ON-7 HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT: The Oakland Raiders gave back to the community by hosting eight local high school football teams in the inaugural "Raiders U 7-on-7 Tournament." With Raiders players serving as coaches, eight local high schools – Castlemont, Kennedy, San Lorenzo, Encinal, Castro Valley, Madison Park Academy, Oakland Military Institute, and Dublin High – participated in the tournament. When all was said and done, Dublin High School – coached by Raider linebacker Kyle Wilber – came away as the well-deserved champion. Go Gaels! INVENTIONS AND INVENTORS MOVIE PREMIER: This year Dublin hosted its inaugural science-based media event, the "Inventions and Inventors Movie Premier." The program was designed for, but not limited to, GATE students to promote problem-solving and creative-thinking skills in grades three through five. Participants followed a step-by-step process to invent a new product or develop an alternative to an existing solution. Each student presented their project in video format, all of which have been compiled here. Please enjoy the talent and creative thinking of our Dublin students! [ More here ]
