Dear Duarte Family,

Thank you for an amazing year, under unprecedented circumstances. We are so proud of our scholars, staff, and community for the grit, tenacity, and perseverance you have shown over the last year. We are excited for our future, and we are working hard to provide a memorable summer of extended learning and enrichment.

DUSD Free Summer Meals
Summer at Los Angeles County Parks
Los Angeles County offers an array of summer activities! Here are a few.

FREE LUNCH AND SNACK PROGRAM – JUNE 15 – AUGUST 6
MONDAYS – FRIDAYS 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM LUNCH / 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM SNACKS
Youth 18 years old and younger can enjoy a healthy lunch and snack at select LA County parks. Kids are invited to receive free nutritious lunch and snacks that include vegetables, fruits, seeds and healthy dairy products like milk, string cheese and yogurt.
 
PARKS AFTER DARK – JUNE 18 – AUGUST 7
FRIDAYS AND SATURDAYS 
Parks After Dark (PAD) is a free community program offering activities and other programs for all ages and interests when school is not in session. Enjoy movies on Friday nights and concerts on Saturday nights under the stars at one of 33 parks near you.
