We've heard you... and we've made a change to your InSite email address!
Because we are a part of a multi-college district, and many of you have attended more than one of our colleges, many students did not get the email address that they preferred (like Mustangs, Vikings, or Comets) but we couldn't change that. So instead, we have changed all student email addresses in the district to a universal email domain: @insite.4cd.edu.
Your student email address (we're calling it InSite mail) is "WebAdvisor user name @insite.4cd.edu".
If you are not logging in to your InSite page regularly, you may be missing out! To get all your official college communications in one place, including instructor messages, financial aid and admissions notifications and reminders, and much more, log on to InSite and activate your new email account.
Why should I check my InSite page regularly?
All communications from the college will be delivered to either your InSite mail or posted on your InSite portal page including:
- Online payment receipts
- Schedule changes
- Notification of Eligibility to Register from the Waitlist
- All communications from faculty
- Reminders of class start dates
- Urgent messages from the College (emergencies, etc.)
- and much more!
How to access your InSite mail account
You are expected to check your email frequently to stay aware of college and district-related communications. If you wish to have email forwarded to another address (e.g., @yahoo.com, @gmail.com) you may, but at your own risk. The college district is not responsible for the handling of email by outside vendors. Having email forwarded does not change your responsibility for reading and responding to official communications sent to your InSite email account.
