EARTH CONSTITUTION WATCH

[The opinions, viewpoints, and conclusions expressed in these articles are those of the individual authors and do not necessarily reflect the views or positions of DWF NEWS. We provide space for diverse perspectives to encourage open dialogue and informed discussion.]

The United Nations, frustrated by its fatally flawed Charter, let outlaw nations rule the world. The UN Security Council has been a disastrous failure. Rather than bringing world peace and justice the UNSC P-5 veto powers have done the opposite -- allowing endless, illegal wars.

The Earth Constitution addresses this travesty on world peace and justice. When rogue leaders slaughter with total impunity, the Earth Constitution offers a democratic, legal weapon to put warmongers on trial. There is a well thought out World Judiciary System with enforcement-- missing in the UN Charter, along with an emerging democratic World Parliament now being established by peace and justice activists.

The "Donroe Doctrine" and Washington's plan to plunder the Hemisphere.

Cuba: Victim of America's Criminal Foreign Policy

Roger Kotila       DWF NEWS

While the New York Post (Jan. 30, 2026) gushes over President Trump's "Donroe Doctrine," little notice is given to the fact that the US government openly maintains a criminal foreign policy, one which prevents independence and freedom of choice of weaker nations.

Countries like Cuba, facing a ruthless, illegal economic blockade, are being forced to submit to US control, like it or not. The Cuban people are not given a choice. Venezuela and many other Latin nations are also being deprived of self-determination by US gangsterism which goes back to the 1800s and the Monroe Doctrine.

The NY Post likes the fact that under the Donroe Doctrine the US keeps economic "adversaries" out of Latin America. The scheme, an extension of the Monroe Doctrine, has been generally accepted as "normal" by the Press, and not unexpectedly, by the American public. In reality, the policy is brutally criminal -- indirect murder of men, women and children due to lack of needed resources for life itself caused by the US empire's economic blockades -- an act of war.

The United Nations cannot save Cuba because the UN Charter is too flawed. The UN Security Council protects the USA from intervention by the UN, even though the majority of nations in the UN General Assembly know that the attack on Cuba is morally wrong and viciously criminal.

The Earth Constitution/Earth Federation movement hopes to draw attention to the use of illegal military force and other criminal behaviors by Bully nations, and the fact that the UN cannot protect the rights of victimized nations or the world community.

AI Overview:

New York Post Coverage

At the start of Trump’s second term, the New York Post ran a full-page cover titled “The Donroe Doctrine: Trump’s Vision for the Hemisphere”. The article illustrated Trump’s ambitious plans on a map, including integrating Canada as the 51st state, controlling Greenland, and asserting influence over the Panama Canal toda.org. The Post highlighted U.S. military operations in the Caribbean, including the deployment of the U.S.S. Gerald R. Ford and other vessels under the mission named ‘Southern Spear’, ostensibly to combat drug trafficking but also signaling a willingness to intervene in Latin American politics toda.org. The coverage emphasized Trump’s readiness to confront authoritarian regimes, particularly Venezuela’s Nicolás Maduro, and his broader “America First” agenda toda.org.

Historical Context

The Donroe Doctrine draws on the Monroe Doctrine of 1823, which sought to prevent European interference in Latin America, and the Roosevelt Corollary of 1904–1905, which justified U.S. military interventions in the region. Historically, these policies established Latin America as a U.S. sphere of influence, with interventions ranging from the Banana Wars to Cold War-era operations aimed at containing communism toda.org.

Implications and Criticism

Supporters view the doctrine as a way to restore American primacy and counter the influence of China and Russia in the Americas Wikipedia+1. Critics argue it could set a precedent for illiberal regimes, encourage territorial expansion, and undermine international law Wikipedia+1. The New York Post’s coverage framed these actions as a bold, assertive vision for U.S. hemispheric leadership, reflecting both domestic political messaging and strategic ambitions toda.org.

What's being done to the Gazans: Is this Jewish? Is it Christian? Is it both?

Eric Zuesse ericzuesse.substack.com

The earliest of the writers of the texts that the Roman Catholic Church collected and canonized as constituting the New Testament was Paul. I argue, explain, and document, in my CHRIST’S VENTRILOQUISTS: The Event that Created Christianity, that the authors of the four canonized Gospel accounts of ‘Jesus’s words’ were all followers of Paul and had never heard Jesus speak but reconstructed their accounts of ‘Jesus’ from what Paul had taught them, and that Paul himself had never actually met the living Jesus.

(As regards the Jewish ‘holy book’ or “Torah,” it likewise was not a book of history but of propaganda. This is why the entire Bible is loaded with self-contradictions, and so practically anything — including even the most evil things, such as genocide — can be and is ‘justified’ by it. The Bible can be cited on both sides of any issue. Consequently, it is accepted and cited by more people than any other text as being their ultimate guide to ethics. Science has not yet started in this field. Thus, even genocides can be ‘authoritatively’ ‘justified’, by canonized self-contradictory propagandas, from which the believer picks and chooses whatever one wants to believe, and alleges that “God” had so ordained.)

EXCERPTS

Genesis 15:18-21

"On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abraham and said, ‘To your descendants I give this land, from the river of Egypt [the Nile] to the great river, the Euphrates, including the lands of the Kenites, the Kenizzites, the Kadmonites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Rephaim, the Amoriotes, the Caananites, the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.’” (Those tribes — or their survivors — were the ancestors of today’s Palestinians.)

Deuteronomy 7:1-2

“You must not let any living thing survive among the cities of these people the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance: the Girgashites, the Amorites, the Caananites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites. You must put them all to death.”

In 1 Thessalonians 2:14-16, “Paul” says: “(14 …) You suffered the same persecutions from your countrymen that they suffered from the Jews (15) who killed the Lord Jesus and the prophets, and persecuted us. How displeasing they are to God! How hostile they are to everyone! (16) They even tried to stop us from preaching to non-Jews the message that would bring them salvation. In this way they have completed in full the sins they have always committed. And now God’s anger has at last come down upon them!”

In John 8:44, “Jesus” says to “the Jews”: “You are the children of your father, Satan.”

In Matthew 23:31-38, “Jesus” says to “the Jews”: “Therefore you are witnesses against yourselves that you are sons of those who murdered the prophets. Fill up, then, the measure of your fathers’ guilt. Serpents, brood of vipers! How can you escape the condemnation of hell? Therefore, indeed, I send you prophets, wise men, and scribes: some of them you will kill and crucify, and some of them you will scourge in your synagogues and persecute from city to city, that on you may come all the righteous blood shed on the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah, son of Berechiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar. Assuredly, I say to you, all these things will come upon this generation: Oh Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing! See! Your house is left to you desolate!” These statements from ‘Jesus’ are racist — they blame specifically ‘the Jews’ for their ancestors going back to “Satan.”  READ MORE

Will Israel Finally Pay a Price?

Ramzy Baroud        Z Network in Consortium News

Sanctions on Israel must be enforced, writes Ramzy Baroud. Boycotts must impose an economic cost. International law cannot simply be invoked; it must have consequences.

Let’s start with the good news. The Office of the U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights has added 61 companies to its database of businesses involved in activities linked to illegal Israeli settlements, expanding the list from 158 to 214 companies.

Why is this good news? Because it further illustrates a degree of seriousness within the international community to move its position on Israel from the realm of language to that of action.

Yet more good news: five previously listed companies were removed after the office determined that their involvement in the relevant activities had ended.

This matters because it suggests that the mechanism can work: sustained scrutiny can influence corporate behavior and supporting Israel’s illegal occupation of Palestine can carry a price.

Third, the removal of five companies suggests that the mechanism can produce results. Its impact remains far below what Palestinians need, but the removals indicate that companies can end relevant activities and subsequently be removed from the database.

The list also provides civil society with credible material for accountability and boycott campaigns. More importantly, it can help move such efforts beyond individual consumer choices toward action by governments, financial institutions and regulatory bodies.

Western Sanctions

This is particularly relevant as Western governments begin taking measures of their own.

On Sept. 8, 12 countries — Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Iceland, Ireland, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom — announced their intention either to introduce national restrictions or support European restrictions on trade with illegal Israeli settlements. Britain went further, banning settlement goods and moving against companies involved in settlement construction.

Considering that Israel continues its genocidal assault on Gaza while accelerating settlement expansion and annexation measures in the West Bank, none of these steps can ever be sufficient on their own. They are, however, meaningful steps in the right direction.

Palestinians expect — and deserve — far more than the bare minimum. The situation in the occupied territories is simply too urgent for symbolic politics. Every passing day should bring another measure of accountability: another restriction, another divestment, another sanction, another political or economic consequence.

Israel has operated for decades on the assumption that it is effectively untouchable — that condemnation will remain rhetorical, reports will gather dust and Western governments will ultimately retreat when meaningful pressure becomes politically costly.

That assumption must end.

For the Israeli mindset to change, the consequences of occupation, annexation and genocide must become unmistakable. Sanctions cannot merely be announced; they must be enforced. Boycotts cannot remain symbolic; they must carry an economic cost. International law cannot simply be invoked; it must have consequences. READ MORE

Washington happy to have Europe engage in a nuclear war with Russia while the US mainland remains safe and dry

The 'War of Grand Design'

Alastair Crooke    (Forum Geopolitica) Consortium News

To preserve its supremacy, Washington is pushing Europe to the front line against Russia, even at the risk of nuclear escalation.

EXCERPTS

The paradigm shifts. The networked supra-national stratum that long has pursued its global “grand design” through manufacturing public consent for wars of imposed compliance has, at last, run up against the limits to power. We are, indeed, at an “emperor has no clothes” moment. All can see it.

“In the golden light of an Athens evening, with the Acropolis over his shoulder,” U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, on Oct. 7, openly praised colonialism; he engaged in egregious erasures of history, and demanded a return to Western domination of the world. Rubio asserted that the West must use military force to “maintain its place at the head of the world;” the West is “the greatest civilization in the world,” he declared, emphasizing that it is a “civilization that we must fight to defend today with the same passion as our forefathers did.”

Moscow is not waging war against the 20-million odd inhabitants of Ukraine —

“It is confronting, through Ukraine, the entire Atlanticist bloc, NATO as a whole, its intelligence services, its arsenals, its satellites, its military industry, and its media machine. Ukraine is merely a theatre of operations, a battlefield in a latent world war.”
The mantra that Russian President Vladimir Putin’s nuclear threats are a “bluff” principally serves to lower the psychological caution to European escalation — an escalation that could risk provoking Moscow to perceive little option other than to resort to tactical nuclear weapons as the means to restore credibility to the Russian nuclear deterrent.
In such context — and with U.S.’ escalatory potential largely expended — the U.S. almost certainly would not be ready to put on the table the risk that U.S. cities might be nuked as conflict escalates.
“U.S. tactical nuclear weapons were planned for use inside Europe, against forces on European soil, precisely to keep any nuclear exchange geographically limited,” Forsgren argues —
“Thus the masters of the ‘Design’ strategy aim to corner Russia into a position where its only alternatives are strategic retreat — or, the destruction of Europe as a proxy — a destruction that would nonetheless come at the price to Russia of the damage European nuclear weapons would inflict on Russian territory and forces … whilst all along the American homeland and its financial superstructure stays out of range.” READ MORE

NATO plays Russian Roulette: Will Europe sacrifice itself for the USA by provoking a nuclear war with Russia?

Slouching toward Kalinigrad, NATO dismisses a nuclear threat

Anatol Lieven Responsible Statecraft

EXCERPTS

Kaliningrad is the headquarters of the Russian Baltic Fleet and a base for Russian medium-range nuclear missiles. It is also internationally-recognized Russian territory. In U.S. terms, it is as if Pearl Harbor found itself isolated in the middle of Chinese-controlled territory. The progressive expansion of NATO since 1989 to East Germany, Poland, the Baltic States, Sweden and Finland has also turned the Baltic Sea into a NATO lake, with Moscow’s control reduced from the whole eastern and southern shores that it controlled during the Cold War to just Kaliningrad and St. Petersburg.

President Vladimir Putin and the Russian government have stated recently that if NATO blockades Kaliningrad, Russia will respond with nuclear weapons if necessary; every member of the Russian establishment with whom I have spoken has said the same. NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, displaying the smirking, strutting frivolity that he has made his trademark, responded that he does “not take this seriously.”

It may seem that NATO countries could not possibly be so crazy as to run the appalling risks involved in imposing a blockade on Kaliningrad; but in fact they have twice suggested moves in this direction. In June 2022, Lithuania announced that (in violation of a previous agreement with Russia) it would impose a ban on the transit to Kaliningrad of goods subject to European Union sanctions, including oil, coal, metals, construction materials and advanced technology — around half of the exclave’s import needs, according to the provincial government of Kaliningrad. After harsh Russian threats of retaliation, the EU backed down and declared that the sanctions would not apply to rail transport.       READ MORE

Hiding an extra $1 trillion is why the government claims that it "can't afford" necessities like medical care for all and other basic services

The Pentagon's Secret Budget

David Vine     (originally in TomDispatch) FPIF

Trump’s proposed budget hides $1 trillion in military spending from the public by spreading it across disparate government agencies.

EXCERPTS

News reports that next year’s U.S. military budget will top out at $1.5 trillion if President Donald Trump gets his way are misleading at best. The true total, if Trump’s proposal passes, could be at least $1 trillion higher.

The troubling revelation that the government is misleading the public and effectively hiding hundreds of billions in military spending reflects the out-of-control nature of the Pentagon budget. It’s also the only sector of government spending that seems largely insulated from public scrutiny: Imagine the outrage if news broke that the government was hiding hundreds of billions in spending for public housing, Medicaid, or hunger prevention programs.

Hidden Nuclear Weapons Costs: $33.8 Billion

The most obvious place where Congress and the executive branch hide military spending is in the Department of Energy’s budget. That’s where taxpayers can find the bill for the U.S. nuclear weapons arsenal, which cost around $33.5 billion in 2025.

Hidden Military Personnel (Veterans) Costs: $393.3 Billion

Funding for the Department of Veterans Affairs adds another $389.8 billion to the USAspending.gov methodology total. Almost $4 billion more in long-term spending on personnel hides in the budgets of the departments of Labor, Justice, and several others. All told, these sums reach a staggering $393.3 billion.

Still Other Costs

The $1.7 trillion estimate for last year is conservative and still may be too low. While the War Department budget contains classified funding for the CIA, National Security Agency, and other intelligence agencies, the government may hide more intelligence spending elsewhere.

If Congress passes Trump’s full budget proposal, military spending will eat up around 75 percent of the discretionary budget Congress controls. Every dollar spent on the Pentagon is also a dollar more for Trump to continue waging his illegal, disastrous war on Iran and the funds to make good on his threats to attack Cuba and other countries.

Advocates for increased military spending will likely insist that more money is always needed, no matter today’s true total. That these Pentagon boosters have cited incorrect figures and helped mislead the public for decades raises serious questions about their credibility and the basis for their seemingly endless demands for more money.      READ MORE

EARTH CONSTITUTION WATCH

December 3, 2025 (update 10/28/26)

The UN let outlaw states rule the world. A World Parliament ends it.

Earth Constitution Solution & Provisional World Parliament

Roger Kotila, PhD  Earth Federation News & Views

Imagine being allowed to lie, cheat, steal and kill without fear of getting arrested and ending up in jail?

How convenient if you are a psychopathic leader whose world crimes make your nation an outlaw state! Since you have no conscience, and enforceable international law is weak to nonexistent, there are no guard rails to prevent you from endless crimes such as endless wars.

The world community's main protectors, the United Nations and the International Criminal Court, are denied adequate power to stop war crimes, crimes against humanity, and other world crimes. When the most powerful nations are rogue, the world community stands by, frustrated and helpless to prevent the carnage and injustice.

Peace, human rights, and environmental activists are developing an alternative to the current UN global governing system, namely the need for a "new UN" ("UN 2.0) or Earth Federation government.

It is a Two Track Strategy: (1) Develop Earth Federation government from the grassroots by establishing the HOUSE OF PEOPLES in a Provisional World Parliament. (2) Reaching out to the UN General Assembly to develop the HOUSE OF NATIONS as called for under the authority of the Earth Constitution as part of an emerging democratic World Parliament. The design also calls for a third house - the House of Counselors.
